Interviewer are very much likely to rephrase a question if you ask for clarification.

And they are very much likely to let it pass if you have already answered a question based on your own understanding of it.

Look at Buhari. Sometimes, he gives answers that sometimes do not have anything to do with the question, yet the interviewers let it pass.

I disagree with this,

This is not a job interview question.

This kind of interview are meant to clear the air and correct the public opinion, and that is why evicted HMs normally go through dis media tour,it is not for fun.

There av been so many times presenter or host of this kind of interviews rephrased their question even after the person in question av already given their response. so many many times, both on TV and Radio.

So definitely if OZO was wrong with dat response the presenter would av pushed further definitely.

As for the the Buhari you mentioned. let me sight an example.

During the presidential debate prior to the presidential election.

Kadaria Ahmed ask Buhari some questions and he gives some off points response, buh she let it pass,Buh whenever he asked Atiku questions and shez not getting the required answers she will pushed further.To the extent that People criticize her for been biased.

During interview a professional host/presenter always push further(by rephrasing or twisting the question) whenever the person they are questioning gives in accurate answers to their question.
