Their dad is a former commissioner of police and his house is just by NNPC junction in Adebisi layout, Apata, Ibadan opposite the Beckley's house.

For the records, the shot was taken when I had to invite my younger ones who are officers to deal with the omo oniles disturbing the project. The agent secretly took the shot and send to the client to let him know what I’m doing to manage the omo oniles.

I don’t know why people keep complaining about the said roofing that it’s too tall. I am very sure if you see it life you will not only like it but envy it. My home country house(bungalow) that I built around 2015/2016 is taller than this and no one passes by without appreciating the roofing. Infact when I completed the house and moved in then, a lot of passerby people do branch my house to appreciate the house especially the roofing.

If there is any Engineer l trust most on Nairaland, number one, numero-uno, one l have recommended openly without reservation to others, one l can say "take this #20M Cash, a Drawing, point to my land and say "call me if you need more money", it is abdulwastexc and l am not saying this to massagge his ego.

Apart from being extremely HONEST and TRUTH FUL, he is sound, knows his stuff, analytical, scientific, factual, empirical and he has been around for a long time!
If still in doubt, ask the gurus and elders in the house, from the Gurus of Building, Contracting, to Elder Clientelle.

If Abdulwastexc says a foundation is sound, l dont know of any of the old hands on this thread, hat will say otherwise.
That is how much confidence we all repose in his ability, as an Engineer and Builder.

If your house roof king post no enter 20 feet u r a learner. Damn ! Buildings with tall roof always look sweet and very expensive. Only a low budget house will settle for low roof. Men ur house with all the touch becomes nothing.

The advantages are just too many:

1. It allows plenty of air inside which makes it cool all-weather and of course better air flow.
2. It offers larger attic space for storage at no additional cost
3. Longer lifespan as there's less issue of pooling water or dirts/leaf staying on the roof.
4. It requires lesser maintenance when compared with flat roofs
5. More appealing

The impression l have is that you have LEARNED from the past!
Maybe you have, but you need to learn even, especially knowing when to "say less" or even when to "say nothing at all".

It is not ALWAYS PROFITABLE to want to have the last word.
Someone posted, a few pages behind, on this thread, that "To Err is Human, to Forgive is Divine".
That statement is ever True, even for those of us that Speak and Act like we are without fault or Blemish.

When Hypocrites were about stoning a Prostitute to death and wanted to co-opt Jesus into[b] their nefarious, hypocritcal, holier-than-thou posture, Jesus reflected and asked a simple question: Let he who is WITHOUT SIN, Cast the first Stone! They all walked away in shame.[/b]
Let us note that Jesus did not said the Prostitute was right nor did he support Prostitution but his words exposed the hypocrisy of these pretenders.

I am not unaware of the past (and all of us who were here back then are also aware) and how somethings you did in the past, have affected your ratings, that is just a FACT OF HISTORY. You did Wrong.
But you apologised and promised to turn a new leaf.
Some people might still be hurting (like QC1, and he may have been magnanimous enough to forgive the past or he may not, that depends on him and it is his right!), some other people may also still be out for blood, even if the Client that was offended has forgiven the Contractor involved, all these are realities of life.

What you MUST NOT DO is go back to the Past and engage in a war fo words, with those "who still seek blood", over your past.
If you do that, then you have not learned anything.

Like Jesus said, Let him without Sin, Cast the first Stone!
No one is Perfect and anyone pretending to be Perfect, is a Hypocrite but that does not mean those who were affected by your past mistakes/actions are not hurting and for the sake of respect for such people, you cannot engage in a war of words that may come across as trying to justify past mistakes.
You should just read and click next, because as human, we all make mistakes and commit errors but we must admit our errors, apologise, make recompense where possible, learn from it and do better.
Now, if some think the steps above are not enough and the only thing that matters is that the "sinner" be burned on the stake and crucified for eternity! I disagree but they are entitled to their position.

I repeat, if a 'GOAT' builds a House and Abdulwastexc looks at it and says "it is sound", l will move into that house and go to sleep.
WHY? Because he has demonstrated beyond doubt, that his opinions are reliable, scientific, empirical and based based on top-notch Engineering knowledge.
That is my opinion and understanding of him and l stand by it.
