Maybe Suarez wins UCL or La Liga with Athletico Madrid?

On a more serious note, unlike our team, Athletico Madrid have better plans for the future than Barca. Had Morata been scoring regularly I don't think they would have gone for Suarez but in every other position they have young vibrant players. Ours we have Pique, Busquets as guaranteed starters, God! Umtiti who has been a defending sham since the world cup, Alba that isn't as young as before, Semedo(sold) that couldn't cross na wa o
Innocent question, what are Atletico plans for the future compared to ours?

ATM: building their team around Suarez and costa

Barce: building our team around fati, trincao and pedri

So theirs is better

So Koeman has shown his desire to play Messi has a false 9 but can't he just drop Griezmann if that's the case. Griezmann can't play right wing!

Let's start from defence, the oldest player in Athletico's defence is Felipe at 31 and Trippier at 30. Our defence has 33 year old Pique, 31 year old Alba and Lenglet. The rest aren't reliable.
In their midfield, the oldest is Hector Herrera at 30.
Our midfield, the oldest is Busquets at 33 and Pjanic at 30.
In attack, our oldest player is Messi at 33 while theirs is Suarez at 33 with Kalinic at 30 and Costa at 31...
Well, they are almost the same thing actually. Except that until this season their wage bill was around half of ours

Gossiper! You love controversy.

Besides, I don't believe Suarez was kicked out. The club was honest with him and granted his wish to play for a top rival, and got nothing from the move. The club social media accounts have been awash with all manner of celebrations for him.

Suarez should be the one that is very grateful to Barca. Barca picked him up when no one wanted him. After his world cup biting controversy and subsequent four month ban from football, he was avoided like a plague. Yet Barca still signed him and he couldn't play for us until November of that year

Messi is of course fed up with the club administration but that does not mean everything he says is the gospel truth. sad angry Of course next year, he will be joining Suarez on the exit. That should put paid to all these stories of god-like players who feel they are bigger than the club. No player is bigger than the club because sooner or later, you will get old and your knees will buckle and you will be forced to retire but the club remains.

Messi's penchant to openly criticize the club that pays his wages for the past 20 years is becoming really a bad practice.

Anyways, that you are a GOAT doesn't mean you are educated.

Pique shares the same legendary status as Messi but Pique hasn't disgraced the club openly the way Messi has dragged the club at every turn. It doesn't mean Pique does not have his misgivings against the leadership of the club but it means he has proper education and he's not being managed by his fuckkking dad.

Messi rarely ever criticises Barcelona. He doesn't even criticize his teammates when things go south. He gets angry and that's it. He's never thrown any player under the bus. Ronaldo has done that.
In the last five years, Messi has criticized Barça for these reasons which are valid:
1. Luis Enrique's style of play and training style which he says hurts players and isn't the Barcelona way;
2. Letting Neymar go and not getting a good replacement;
3. Failing to resign Neymar;
4. The transfer options of the club;
5. Bartomeu;
6. Transfer targets
7. Pushing a club legend like Suarez out that way.
All these are consistent with what the fanbase have been saying. Haven't we all been criticizing Bartomeu for over a year before that Messi interview? Haven't we all touched on all the issues above?

Never forget Messi' first rebellion against Pep Guardiola before they mended fences was because of the way Pep pushed out people he looked up to (Ronaldinho and Eto) out of Barça unceremoniously. It's the reason both ex-players are fiercely defensive of Messi till date. He stood up for them even as a teenager while others like Pique, Iniesta and Xavi kept quiet.

Suarez should have been phased out of the team with respect. Give him a role and phase him out gradually like they did to Iniesta. Suarez deserves a proper send-off party from the fans. If you think otherwise then you are a football fan without a soul.

Messi' rare criticism of the club has always been justified. Never for selfish reasons.

Pique is a Barça legend and fanatic but he's only vocal when defending Barça and Catalonia in inter-club and inter-region beefs.

no one let Neymar go
he left because of money

And barca cannot resign neymar because he is expensive and psg wunt let him go just like that.

The truth is that their era has come to an end and barca needs to rebuild.

Yes he deserved a farewell ceremony
Barca needs to offload players as fast as possible because obviously barca is declining

If not for corona he would have gotten a farewell ceremony

Heyy cheesy cheesy

I heard Messi is bullying the club again.

Based on comments here I can see Barca fans are happy.
Lmao! Your club is running down and you are happy. Just because it is Messi?

Well, more of that, can't wait to see this club finally down in the gutters.

No one is saying they should be friends suddenly. But i hate coming to the blogs each day and reading bad things about the club I support, all because of Messi. He should stop attacking the club. Attack and disrespect to the authorities of the club is a disrespect to her members and fans.

.
I'm not Defending Messi tho, but, if you wanna talk about Messi's criticism, I think it's being misunderstood.
First, Suarez truly deserved a better send off than the shit they organized. He was a Legend, for christ sake.

Second, Messi's anger was primarily directed to the bartomeu and to a reasonable extent, the board. The club hasn't stopped or changed for its ways of not doing things properly. No one here can deny barca's guilt of throwing players out without regard, whether completely or loan. Ask Charles Perez who expressed his frustration on how confused barca are. First you think you're in their plans and next thing they're desperately pushing you out. You think Messi isn't watching. All you see is "Thank You and Good Luck" on their twitter page. Really?!!

So when Neymar, Dani Alves and Fabregas support his statement, then you know something is truly wrong with the board. It's all about RESPECT! RESPECT!!RESPECT!!!
When Messi said nothing surprises him anymore, it means a lot of things. 1. He's given up on everything and he'll play till his contract runs out 2. The board still keep getting things wrong.

Anyway, y'all should cut Messi some slack. Suarez was his brother, on and off the pitch. So he has a reasonable degree of moral right to take away the shame from Suarez face.

Someone said nobody wanted Suarez. He was a like a plague. Really? Asides from the 4 month ban, Suarez was EVERY CLUB'S dream striker. Barca were just patient.

Lastly, Now that we have a manager who recognizes being played in the right position and playing with intensity, who would you prefer as our striker, Griezmann or Suarezhuh? . I'm just curious
