I just created a change.org petition it will be very productive if we take it seriously... I advise that both 2018/2019 awardees and prospective 2020 awardees should sign this petition ...if the required Number of signature is gotten it will forwarded to the executive secretary PTDF, MINISTRY OF PETROLEUM RESOURCES AMD OTHERS...sign and forward to others to do same anybody u can convince bother those who haven't heard of PTDF can sign this petition

2. I.T Allowance - 100,000 P/A
3. Project Allowance - 100,000 paid once in final year

For MSc

check your email, they must have sent you an invitation mail. I just got mine this morning

If ur view offer is taken out, u won't be invited for documentation.

I got an email telling me "Please be informed that you will not receive an invitation to attend the 2019 LSS Documentation exercise scheduled to take place from 12th – 20th October 2020.

We observed from your profile on the Scholarship Management Portal that you have not uploaded a valid admission letter."

I have checked everywhere and cannot find where to upload the letter.
All their numbers of 0902500007 and 0902500006 are switched off.
The whatsapp number of 0902500008 does not get my messages delivered.
And the email admissions.lss@ptdf.gov.ng rejects my email.

What should I do?

just be following updates on telegram, they will still invite you on a later date after they must have rectified the admission letter upload issue. Just note that you are not alone

Those that received a notification to provide a valid admission letter should kindly send the letter together with their PTDF ID to admissions.lss@ptdf.gov.ng

Kindly note that admission letters must be from any of the Federal Universities. Centres of Excellence, State or Private Universities are not accepted.

For MSc, only 2017/2018 upwards are accepted while that of PhD 2016/2017 upwards are accepted.

Please why on earth is our system this way. After 2 years of prayers, dedication, struggle to see the end of this scholarship,then you are told your year of admission does not apply. Why were we not informed about if in the first place.

If your admission letter was not corresponding with the year as advertisd, why did you apply ..this same reason is the major issue that Caused delay in documentation for the last 3weeks now.

Just so you know, some awardees have 2011/2012 admission letters.

If the system was rational, they would have stated the boundary conditions/battery limits properly. Please don't push blames to anyone.

Do you want to benefit alone...you are not the best person to tell us who benefits from the award..Remember we all went for interviews and presented this same admission letters to the panels..So please be considerate..Why was PhD 2016/2017 added and MSc 2016/2017 neglected. "Calm down" don't get emotional . We all know it was favour that gave us all safe passage, not our doing in "totallity".

If your admission letter didn't tally with the year as advertisd, you should have known you only tried to "beat" the system, and hopefully, you got lucky to be shortlisted.

The documentation phase checkmate's all this to bring credence to the whole process.

For the delay, let me remind you that we would have been paid in March this year if not for the pandemic. The process of documentation started, but was hauled. No PTDF staff was working during that period.

Let's just hope everyone gets favoured, but don't bad mouth the agency on the note of admission latter denial, because they did no wrong
