Lmaooooo they have not seen anything yet, imagine forcing me to work at your office when things are going bad because of poor management and when better offers are coming in you expect me to what? shower you with praises? Leave talk abeg. He's human too
He is human being alright but he is also a professional. But believe me, there is nothing professional about his attacks to the club. If you applaud him because he is Messi, then you know nothing about code of professionalism and respect to authorities.

There's someone who comes here only when it's time to criticize Messi.

Lol.
It is me. Messi is becoming a shadow of a true professional i had expected he was. It makes me sad.

no one let Neymar go
he left because of money

And barca cannot resign neymar because he is expensive and psg wunt let him go just like that.

The truth is that their era has come to an end and barca needs to rebuild.

Yes he deserved a farewell ceremony
Barca needs to offload players as fast as possible because obviously barca is declining

If not for corona he would have gotten a farewell ceremony
True talk bro.

Messi is angry because Barcelona did not rob a bank in order to sign a greedy, self-indulgent, selfish, utterly expensive Neymar. Someone who left the club on his own volition.

What nonsense!

Heyy cheesy cheesy

I heard Messi is bullying the club again.

Based on comments here I can see Barca fans are happy.
Lmao! Your club is running down and you are happy. Just because it is Messi?

Well, more of that, can't wait to see this club finally down in the gutters.
That has become his pastime these days. Bullying the club every single time. And the fans applaud. I am not such fan

We all wanted someone to stand up to the board, Messi is doing this and we still don't want it.
Messi never said Suarez shouldn't go, He was angry at how he was treated and truly Suarez was treated badly. You don't terminate the contract of the 3rd highest goal scorer in your club with a 30 seconds call.
I mean, 30 seconds!!!!
The conversation would have been Koeman calls Suarez,
Koeman: Hello Suarez, this is Koeman, Barca's new manager, You are not part of my plans, this is the end of the road for you.
Suarez: Hello? Hello?..
End of call.

Thats sad.

No one is saying he should not register his displeasure. But he is becoming unprofessional and disrespectful in his bid to drag the board. He could have wished his friend good bye without making headlines for the wrong reasons.

All the unnecessary dusts he raised last few weeks has yet to settle and he is still raising more hell. He blames the club for everything but i blame him leading the team to her nadir in recent history

Respect is earned not deserved. In recent times, can you say the board has earned the respect of players and fans?

We both know the answer to that question.

If criticism is what they need to sit up, so be it!

My own is that I just can’t wait for both bartomeu and this fool called koeman go get the förk outta this team

Araujo and puig are going back to team b, while barce is looking for buyers for both umtiti and todibo

Like we’re still gonna use the same defense that was ripped to shreds by Bayern yet again,I wonder what criteria this man use in selecting players, but no single improvement will be made this season

Messi has every right to criticise a barcelona club being controlled by a dog. No matter how wasteful Suarez has been in the last 3 years, his 198 goals in about 280 games is legendary.

I mean look at how cheap he's being sold(6m) to a major rival, yet Morata is being sold for 45m to Juventus. How low can Barcelona be?

It's only you that see Messi's slam on Barca board as wrong. Even rival fans and trolls aren't arguing against those facts that Messi is saying.

But Neymar tried to comeback. He irked the whole of the PSG fanbase just to comeback but Barça didn't do enough to get him. Messi was angry for that.

Iniesta was already turning out poor displays before he was phased out. Rakitic was even benching him but he was gradually let go at the end of the season.
There were reports Suarez was willing to take a pay cut just to sit on the bench for a young striker to take center stage. He was willing to come up as substitute.
Suarez's friendship was the only thing stabilizing Messi in that team and if there was any hope of keeping Leo after this season, we can kiss it goodbye.

Bartomeu treated Suarez's exit like Perez does. He'd get it from the fans. He'd get it hard.

I haven't said the board has covered themselves in glory but i maintain that it is very unprofessional for an employee to continually ridicule his employers all because he thinks he has assumed some legendary status. No matter what rank Messi thinks he has assumed at the club, he is still an employee, under contract. He should be respectful to his teammates and to his employers.

The club has been very fair to Suarez. They have already informed him that he is no longer in the plans. They could have waited until a good offer suitable to their evaluation arrives and that would mean Suarez wasting his remaining few years stuck to the bench. But they preferred to let him go for free so that money will not be the stumbling block. They organized a press conference for him and the club officials were in attendance. And they took pictures with all the trophies has as helped the club win. What more will you have the club do for a departing legend? Fans are not allowed to come to the stadium. So there is nothing more that can be done.

Like for the first time, i am not enthusiastic about Barcelona anymore, I am Not and the mistake all started when Bartomeu started ruling. I'm going to give Koeman the benefit of a doubt after watching Barca for 5 weeks, afterwards I expect doomsday.

I disagree with unnecessary, Lionel has always been a quiet guy, rarely talks and has endured so much, I'm not sure you understand being in a workplace that you haven't been enjoying for 5 years, that person would resign and since he wanted to resign and he wasn't allowed to, then you can't blame the method he is using to attack the board. Bartomeu ruined Barca and its trite law.

Koeman is foolish enough not to realize he's Bartomeu's pawn. He'd take the fall for kicking Suarez out even though it's Bartomeu's idea. Just as he threw Abidal and the past coach under the bus for his own failing.
Messi controls the team and they are all loyal to him. Only a stûpid coach would start off by upsetting the dressing room in such a major way.

Look at Arteta. He's smart enough not to kick Ozil out like that. Just phase him out gradually. He nearly made an attempt of selling off Lacazette but he realized how that would rattle Aubameyang and the powerplay in the team so he just let Laca be, playing him sparingly. Aubameyang knowing he'd keep getting his way signed immediately.

Koeman is a goat. I mean the roasted one.

Messi's friendship with Suarez has brought the fans nothing but shame and humiliation in UCL for four consecutive years. Continual collapse of the team in UCL has caused a drastic change to the playing staff. The team can no longer afford a gradual phase out of deadwoods. People will be hurt. Egos will be bruised but to have your captain to continually put plug to that with his unguarded social media outbursts, is so unprofessional.

So what? Even during the La Masia era of Messi, Iniesta and Xavi, Barça had to wait four years (from 2011 to 2015) to lift the trophy again. And that was a team which should have won it every single year.
Messi's friendship with Suarez was why the 2015 UCL victory happened. Their friendship birthed the most formidable partnership of this decade (the MSN). That friendship birthed the miraculous PSG comeback which is the stuff of legends.

Suarez became shit but Barça getting ousted from the UCL in the last four years have been entirely defensive errors, not from a dearth of scoring. If that's the yardstick then Pique should be tied to a Catalonia emblem and thrown midair without a parachute from a cargo plane into the Red Sea. Umtiti should be fed to drugged piranhas too.

Keeping Suarez on the bench wouldn't have hurt anyone. Arsenal's Per Mertasacker(?) became shit but they didn't kick him out like a dog. He's their Director of Academy today. Bartomeu's actions just severed all Barça ties with Suarez till forever. He got disgraced out in a way. They freaking sold him for 6 million! 6! And to a rival team too.

You should be a Madrid fan, really. They are the ones who treat their legends like shit and boo them in stadia. They are the ones who feel loyal soldiers who have fought bravely for the cause should be put down after years of service instead of getting medals and honour services and retired with benefits.

Players like Coutinho and Griezmann who can potentially give it all for the team are definitely taking note. And we have Bartomeu to thank for that.
Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by Nobody: 5:51pm On Sep 25, 2020
Yesterday’s match against Sevilla and even the Ucl final against PSG simply showed that against a good defense, this Bayern team(especially their attack) will struggle

Imagine limiting Bayern to just 2 shots on target against Sevilla, as to Chelsea & Barcelona’s defense that was ripped to shreds against this same team

Well chelsea ended up signing silva and chilwell, benching azpilicueta for James and chasing rudiger(one of the most exposed defender in that game) away.

But you see this Barcelona coach ehhh...... the idiot still feels the same bunch of clowns that played in the defense against are still good to go.

Exactly!

Jpmoriarti. Shey you see what serious clubs are doing,. But you choose to focus against what Messi is saying which is nothing but the truth.

Kindly stop the notion that Messi is disrespecting the club. It's not true.

Bro let's be real here. Of all the 'deadwoods' you mentioned, you think Suarez was supposed to be the first one to be let off, really?? There's Busi, Alba, Umtiti still there. Ok, let's be honest again, in general is there a better no9 or someone who fills in for that position better than Suarez currently?? There's Grizz who played there last season and guess what??, Suarez scored more goals than him playing significantly lesser number of matches. MB?? He has the pace and strength but not much clinically and positionally.
Yes, Suarez got quite wasteful in recent times but he was willing to seat out and give space for replacements and let's not forget dude can still score a goal, I mean look at his goals against Villarreal, Sevilla, Inter, Mallorca, Valencia, Getafe and even Bayern....all of them just last season.
All I'm saying is that while Messi might be abit off track with his public criticisms against the board it still doesn't make what he's saying any less true. Afterall, the club was willing to let Suarez go for free and still inconsiderately insisted his €700m clause be met despite the fact that the agreement he had with them that he could leave at the end of the season for free if he wanted to.

Mehn suarez's farewell speech was so heartbreaking. I really feel sorry for him.

I don't understand why he couldn't accept lower wages if he really wanted to stay at barca. I also don't like how he was forced to leave, forced to leave to a rival again for that matter.

No just them, every fücking underperforming player, take a good look at T.silva, he is 36, but he’s still better than both of our defenders.

If a player stops performing, he should not be in the first eleven ffs, irrespective of his status, past teams he has played for, or money spent on him.
