Photos of Security Operatives killed in Boko Haram Attack On Gov. Zulum's Convoy (Graphic)

IgbereTV reports that 15 operatives died when Boko Haram ambushed the convoy of Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum, on Friday, September 25.

The attacked which happened between Monguno and Baga areas of the state also left many injured including civilians.

Eight policemen, three soldiers, four Civilian Joint Task Force operatives died in the attack.

A Commander of the Civilian JTF, Muazu Alhaji Misiya on Sunday, September 27, posted photos of the security operatives killed and wounded in the attack.

He wrote:

"Fallen heroes. Rest in peace."

According to IgbereTV reports, the governor had left Maiduguri for Baga that Friday, to prepare for the planned return of internally displaced persons from Maiduguri to the camps in Baga.

The attack is the second attack on the governor’s convoy in recent times around Baga.

They should use body bag to show some respect

This was a highly coordinated military ambush conducted by well trained combatants who obviously had the element of surprise on their side. Those men stood little chance of survival against battle-hardened terrorist gangs now operating freely throughout much of northern Nigeria.

Once that belt-fed heavy machinegun began raking the convoy of vehicles with reckless abandon, and a couple of RPG rockets got launched at the convoy's lead vehicles, the bulk of the casualties would be inflicted in mere seconds of utter pandemonium along that lonely highway.

If the number one citizen of Borno State is not safe is it the ordinary indigene of Borno that will be safe

Honestly, this culture of just packing dead bodies like dustbin really needs to stop. No respect for the dead, what kind of rubbish barbaric habit is this from the government? Can't they see how they use body bags abroad and treat the dead with decency? They won't copy that one, but if it's rubbish now they will be quick to copy it and tell us that's how they do abroad. Nonsense! May God continue to have mercy on me.

How you go pack them dead soldiers at the back of pick up without dignity and still call them 'heroes'?

Even though this dead government loves under reporting facts and only pictures sometimes reveal true facts i think it's time pictures of fallen soldiers be stopped being posted on social media this way. Can't they release professional portraits to ID them like they do elsewhere? Illiterate government with accidental cow dung - brained leader.

We need to keep getting international attention to help us sanction our brain dead politicians because that's the only thing that lights their dead brains.
