Good plan but do your market research to know age and size of birds that sells most in your Area

For me once your using a good quality feed no need for all this , its always wise to avoid unnecessary cost in production to be able to maximize profits

Good evening farmers, I noticed my birds (broilers 11 days old) can't stand properly. I suspect calcium deficiency. What can I administer ?
Re: Xmas Broiler Broading In Pictures by Redomi(m): 9:37pm On Sep 28, 2020
Fish- meal is not a natural fodder- feed for chickens . It does not benefit the health of chickens and can cause more harm than good , not only for the chickens but also the consumer.

They look beautiful, but this space cannot contain them in two weeks if you feed them very well

Good day,
Pls I need to know how many birds a 24x41feets can accommodate at a go.

How many bags can feed them to 2kg max in six weeks?
How many bags of starter?
How many bags of finisher?
What are the additive/supliment do I need to achieve the results?

Thanks for your Swift response in anticipation

Waiting a little while now is not the best , you should stock immediately and feed very very well to meet up
Then again consider the size of Christmas birds usually sold in your Area cos some places want the very big Christmas broilers while others want any size birds as Christmas birds

ok thanks. is there any need for switching to growers or should I just go by the way of starter and then end with finisher?

Sorry for derailing the purpose of this thread.
1. is there any difference between black Cockerel and white cockerel?
2. which one grow faster between black Cockerel and Noilers?
3. I bought some Noilers sometimes ago, two out of them look like black Cockerel, I told the woman selling cos I bought them at four weeks old, the woman told me they are all Noilers that some noiler have black Cockerel colours too. They are all grown up now, but I noticed those two that look like black Cockerel grow very big and with massive weight, they are two time bigger than the other Noilers that I bought same day, I told the woman today she still insist they are noilers.
4. On foreign turkey, which one is Nicolas breed and which one is exotic breed? which is the best between the two?

I need to know about black Cockerel, lots of people, especially old women here are asking for the black cockerel, the women selling used to tell them, there is no black Cockerel again in the market.
I noticed the price difference between black and white cockerel is much
Re: Xmas Broiler Broading In Pictures by noeloge82(m): 6:52am On Oct 01, 2020
Black and white cockerel are same thing just colour difference
The main reason why many people go for black is that mostly farmers in the interior believe kites cannot see the small black cockerel to carry cos of colour camouflage hence the reason for the demand and this demand pushed the prices of day old
Some noiler are black in colour like black cockerel or white like white white cockerel but boilers and cockerel are not the same
But noilers are bigger and female noilers lay eggs while their are no female cockerel as they are the males of pullets

On foreign turkey what we have here mostly is Nicolas foreign exotic breed but to avoid confusion of nomenclature foreign exotic breed are better

It means u can't buy it from day old but buy from 4 weeks old, then u have to create a place where they will always sleep
You should also try and feed them properly and watch out for infections and diseases so u can treat them on time
Good luck
