I still don't get how anybody is pinning this loss on Leno. This match was clearly lost by Arteta. His tactics failed and nothing else. Leno didn't concede any error goal; Arteta's tactics was deficient and we lost. Simple!
Anybody that disagrees with this no sabi ball. We started with garage duties insteade of Runway duties. Smh.

Now its arteta not the defenders this time
Leno is terrible, xhaka is useless today, tomorrow and forever
Until arteta gets Aurora and partey his original gameplay will show. I tried to explain to you guys he's only playing this style cos of the players he have but many of you think defense is the problem yet he used his last season defenders today and gabriel is on bench.
Na here we still they
When the dust is Settled tomorrow I will explain why Arteta lost the match.

Exactly! We preferred to sit deep when we should've come to the party like we did in the previous two encounters. Arteta clearly relied on Luiz exploiting the space behind loserpool's fullbacks to set up Auba or Willian for a run at their two CB's. After which he will sit deep and soak pressure once he scores.

It surely didn't go his way. I'm not even angry about the loss ; it's just a case of one's tactics being found out and nothing else.

when i saw Luiz in the lineup i suspected such a reason. But i felt Willian would have changed all that. Only to see him helping Bellerin for over 23mins. Nothing much in attack.

Baba better dey tweak things. Its unimaginable to have a silent Auba. Very stale. Klopp outsmarted Arteta here, but Arteta assisted him.

Because xhaka is in the midfield he can't move or carry the ball, ceballos came in and we started playing centrally if lacazette converted those 2 chances now that's the importance of good midfield
Our playing from back everytime is because of the midfield we have

Gabriel dey na. Why he bench am? Holding can't perform against this cross teams. Yet he dey lineup. Coach mess up here o. Players can still upset liverpool if the right formation and tactic was used. Plus Ceb not starting. Smh

No its not. It's a tactic Arteta seem to have mastered but he was found out today by Klopp. That loserpool troll dropped the pix below earlier today which clearly shows how Auba scored in two different games when Arsenal did build-up play from the back.

Klopp clearly neutralized this and we were toast. Simple!

Baba sleep over it and clear Ur mind. We move!

Okay but when ceballos came in did we change it or not?

That was because Arteta realized his game plan wasn't working and wanted to tweak it...which he did but Lacazette refused to utilize the chances that resulted from that decision.

Do you now believe if he have better players in the midfield can stand toe to toe with lfc midfield

I pity Arsenal sha. A team without defence and midfield. How can a defence of Holding and Tierney hold Mane and Salah down. It is very impossible.
We have beaten them twice recently, how can you reach such conclusions

When I saw the line up, it was a head scratcher like I said. Last week, I remember asking if we will see Saliba since he did not play the Carabao cup? Holding needs a stable player alongside him, I will cash in on him if the right offer came through and we have the back up in Chambers. He was just as confused as Luiz throughout the game. The compulsion to build from the back meant he was under intense pressure and struggled with his passing.

Ultimately, I will like to see a Gab/ Saliba combination soon so we can evaluate what we have at the back.

You don't need the best midfield to beat loserpool, u need Ur offensive players taking their chances when it comes calling and then containing their own offensive players as much as u can.

Watford did exactly just that last season before the COVID-19 outbreak, Arsenal did Same in the league during project restart and even community shield as well.

Bros you still think defense is the problem grin leno made the playing from back so difficult and lfc didn't make it easy too the only time we did it was when laca scored
But gabriel was there when we struggled against hammers,, until we sort out that midfield its same old story

This better not be Arteta's Achilles. This 343 aint doing nothing to me.
It was good while it lasted. Many coaches couldnt have expected Arteta to come up with such a formation. But now that honey moon has passed. We MUST get a proper midfielder especially an AM.

But those two, Luiz Holding, they supposed to be... Lemme not talk much. Cos i doubt GabSali can play the outback style as well as the former. Still yet. Holding supposed don settle for this team wella na.

GabSa will be a good one tho. And it irks me we have defenders but they aren't useful ATM. That irks me.

Argh!!!
Bro the midfield will create chances first na, you think if ceballos didn't come in lacazette will find way to miss 2 chances.
That's why I made reference to Leeds those guys are good at keeping the ball in midfield and that trouble lfc

This loss didnt even alloe one see the good contribution of Elneny. Truly Honeymoon don pass. Dunno why he'd allow Klopp express his own tactic. Whats that? Respect? Wisdom? Funny.

Im not against the outback try, but these defenders would never be perfect dor such a task.

You can't play same pattern over three matches against the same team-building a team like Liverpool and expect not to be found out. I would have expected him to surprise them with a different tactics.

But we move...

My thing is, I am not saying Gab/Sali will be successful, in the same vein, can we argue they will be unsuccessful? No.. We have not watched them play to be able to evaluate them.
