I didn't say we don't need midfield na. I just told u that teams with better midfield than Arsenal's lost against loserpool last season.

Watford and Arsenal that handed them defeat last season didn't have the Best midfield in the league yet they wọn against them. We lost because Arteta's tactics were found out by Klopp.

The match I watched today was lost at the tactics table.
I agree with you to an extent but not about being found out. Every team in the Premiership playing against Leicester and Vardy know exactly what game to expect but try stopping them and see.
I'm not the type to bash players for having a semi good day on the pitch but I think Laca missing those key chances after those counters cost us the game. The game was excellent at half time, only a goal down. Liverpool were not going to be as mobile as they were in the first, so every opportunity we got was going to be key.
Arteta wanted to play it like Leicester with the fast breaks, unfortunately for us Laca isn't Vardy-esque.

Your matter ehn, as I dey look am u go worst past our politicians cause your level of twisting words no b from this planet.

Never forget for every lay down tactics is aim to bring out +ve result nd failure to bring out such +ve boil down to those who carried the tactics out either they did their job diligently or not.

Back to our discussion, the coach tactics that didn't work out as planned was that the players failed to carry it out diligently...

Tierney bleeped up with the first goal, Willian and co with the second goal...

Our lack of ball carrier in that match yesterday costed us big time that's why when Ceballos came in the attack transition was mad a little if not for bro Laca that sold the match out cool.

What I could deduce from the match is that if we cant get a proper left winger, DM, and Amf b4 this transfer closes down I fear we might suffer till January transfer window open cause our pattern of play against the big sides has been exposed by Klopp.
Your first paragraph is unnecessary; Me and you no dey quarrel.

As regards the individual players' errors I already mentioned it even during the course of the match how Willian failed to track back and Tierrney giving Sallah as much space as possible to do the maximum damage.

Go and watch the match again, It's not like the ball was passed on to our Midfielders and they got dispossessed, rather the players were obviously instructed to start play from the back and see how they can launch it to dem Auba upfront. It's clear to see na haba! Arteta wasn't interested in making his midfielders duel with the midfield trio of Fabinho, Wjnaldum and Keita. If Arteta wanted to do that he could've started the same Ceballos that changed the game, rather he opted for sitting deep when we don't have the ball and trying to counter.

It was only when this was proving not effective Arteta tried to change things.

As regards your fears, we will definitely get fresh legs into the team before the transfer window ends. I hope they come out good

Yeah I agree with you, Lacazette should've scored those chances and I'm sure he regrets it. I'm not his biggest fan when it comes finishing as a striker( I actually dragged those who suggested we sell Auba and keep Laca), but I believe yesterday was just not his day.

I just hope we don't let our confidence sink as a team after this loss. We lost to the current EPL champion nothing spoil.

He missed a lot of chances yesterday but he is still our top scorer. If he can maintain one goal per game it won't be a bad record irrespective of his misses.

That's not what you said. But if Auba starts playing CF may be we would get more in return compared to Lacazette as he misses too much chances.

My husband is not a dumbass like you. You will rarely find his type arguing with a lady around this time.

Also, he watches football with his eyes not his bum and understands his team's limitation.

Yes, they beat Liverpool in irrelevant matches i.e Liverpool already won the league then + what is community shield? Even at that, the stat shows that Liverpool deserves to win both matches.

Who among the present Ass players will be in the starting line up for Liverpool? Maybe Auba and that's even maybe..

What I am saying is that if Liverpool play Ass ten times with their present players in a serious contest, Ass will be lucky to win one of these matches.

Look at ceballos "the baller" who is now the saviour saying this after he put up a disasterclass when he started the match this time last season

Even Martinez "the best keeper in the world right now" collect 5goals from Liverpool academy players for anfield

Another option however risky was to bring Willian into midfield to add more bodies since Liverpool concentrated on the left. An extra man in the middle right would have allowed AMN push a bit forward on the left occupying Alex Trent-Arnold and freeing Auba more. This will either create more space for Auba to counter or force Arnold to retreat. The pressure on the left was much and I knew with time we would capitulate.
Willian in the middle would have brought goals. We just drop one of AMN or Elneny. But as you said, risky. The Fullbacks of Liv would roast us.

That's the thing, he CANT maintain it. He has been here longer than Auba but you know who has got more goals. You can't measure effectiveness of a goal getter after 3 games.
It's not like I'm saying he's less important to the team, but there are games where Auba will be blocked out and he has to rise to the occasion. Yesterday Sallah didn't score too but someone else was there to do the job.

I wonder how he copes watching Arsenal with you as an old witch besides him. It must be really scary. shocked

The FACT still remains that we beat Liverpool twice recently. On that you can hug transformer or your husband.

And just as I said, whenever you have these silly posts, give it to him alone. Why should we bear his cross here on NL? Nor be we send am message.

My sincere regards to him.

I am completely with you. I expect Auba to take over the CF role while Willian and Pepe assisted by Saka take over the wings. Lacazette misses a lot of chances.

If we can get Aour and maybe that Lille guy, abeg make we revert to 433 formation. What we played yesterday will make people work to hard.
Our game is predictable. There should be diverse ways of creating changes not just by wing play, that is what make Liverpool superior if you cut Salah, Mane nko, even midfield and defence can all contribute to scoring
