The Church now operate like a business and should be kept away from public administration. The handing over of schools to mission should either be reversed or allowed under strict guidelines from the govt. The people elected the govt not the church. As such, the govt cannot hand huge some of public money to an institution that is not mandated by the law to account for them.
The schools actually belong to the church before it was taken by the government.. Most of the public secondary and primary schools in Anambra re located in church compound...

That's not the issue. maintaining the schools and paying teachers is the key issue and the government still does that. If today's Church pays teachers, do you think average family would afford to attend public schools?
