Hello great people of nairaland. I trust we are all doing well?
There is a particular question that has been running through my mind and that is, why is there much pressure on the youth to make money? As in you look around you young girls/boys living lavishly and you begin to wonder if you have not be left behind in the race of life.

I await your answers. Criticism is also welcome.
Happy independence.

Pressure from who and from where, pls?

I think individuals put themselves under pressure, by themselves in their quest for materials things and the quest to blow, then they turn around and want to blame it on other people or society.

Is a gun being held to Sikira's head under mad pressure to run things with one big god father, somewhere?

Is Audu under mad pressure, at gun point, to scam or ritualize people?

As individuals we always have a choice in this life! Your life is also yours to build, it is not for others to steer.

I chose to live where I live now, I chose to decline a job offer @ MVP, I chose to turn down Kadiri's sexual advances while accepting Kelvin's for xyz reasons, I chose not to visit the baba's place for anything............these are just examples of choices, we all make on a regular.

Pressure may come from certain quarters like peers, family etc but at the end of the day, you get to decide by yourself and for yourself, what to do.
@bold: should be framed around the earth.

If Sikira decides she wants an iPhone as a student with no income source, who put her under pressure?

And if Audu decides he must drive the latest benz on a salary of 70k per month (without extra streams of income) who put him under pressure?
Well said champ, Every man makes his own choice
