BBNaija Winner, Laycon Rocks Nigeria Themed Outfits To Celebrate Independence Day

Like many celebrities, BBNaija season 5 winner, Laycon, has stepped out in green-white-green themed outfits to mark Nigeria’s 60th Independence Day anniversary.

Laycon in a written independence day speech, has prayed and hoped for a better Nigeria while sharing adorable photos.

Igbere TV reports that the Ogun state native who was on a media tour throughout the day just created time to share his Independence day speech on his official Instagram page after having a stressed day.

In his written speech, he prayed Nigeria continues to grow in true freedom, peace, unity, progress as a Nation and love for each other as a people, casting aside religious, ethnic or tribal barriers.

He wrote; “60 years ago, we transitioned from struggle to freedom as a Nation. We will never forget the patriotism of the brave hearts who gave life and limb to see a free Nation. May we continue to grow in true freedom, peace, unity, progress as a Nation and love for each other as a people, casting aside religious, ethnic or tribal barriers and remembering that, come what may, we are and will always remain One Nigeria.

“Even as we are free, may we and all at different helms of affairs in our dear country continue to lead the Nigeria aright for with freedom, comes the responsibility of discipline and a need to herald the diversity that our dear Nigeria exists upon. May we all, as citizens of this great Nation, continue to strive to promote peace, harmony, unity, love in our homes and consequently, in our dear country, Nigeria.

“I am proud to be an iCONic Nigerian and wish us all a Happy Independence Day. May God bless you all. May God bless Nigeria.”

Arrrrrrrh

I vet the only reason laycon is celebrating independency is because he is 85Million Rich.

Assuming he is like us, still rappin he Won't do such.

Some people will be celebrating independency but can't say the truth .

I love what Pete son said, he can't wish anybody happy Independence Because there's nothing to celebrate when everything is high, fuel prize, food everything.

Designers are using the guy to flex their skills. Efe was the most physically unappealing BBNaija winner. No matter what that guy wore he always resembled someone's driver or a menial worker rocking stolen clothes.

The fvck

Niggarr!!

Niggarr is smart, I'm sure he would build on the lockdown success.

Laycon is treading his own path right, I hope all the "average" ICONS who voted him would step up the hustle too.

No beef folks.

Peace out!

I still recall how many Tribalists challenged the IGBO nation for having too many nominees of Igbo extraction in the recently concluded BBNaija..
Now that this GENTLEMAN has won, and his emergence has been acknowledged by many as a well deserved success, we can't find the Tribalists again talking down on other tribes.

We really need to grow above many things.
It's really sickening.
