Please nairalanders, I want you to advice me on what to do urgently. I have been looking for job since last two years and even lost the confidence in me securing a job,this push me to start learning barbing in my area but when one of my lost family heard that I am learning barbing with my b.sc in economics,he referred me to one of his friend to help me secure the job in his company.My brother told him that I am desperate for job that he should at least help me get something doing in his company.I went for the interview and the man gave me work as a procurement officer and i will be the one driving their bus anything they have goods to clear somewhere and he will only be paying me #50,000,I was happy that day that I even celebrated it with my friends but after three months of working the money is not enough for me again because I am a family man with a daughter.
Luckily this morning I wanted to do something on our accountant system and I stumbled on our company payroll and I saw that all the remaining staff are collecting more than 100k,it is only me collecting 50k, even the corper that finishd her service this year and we retain her is collecting 90k+,since then I have stopped working and thinking on what to do and I know that all the staff would have been talking about me at my back. What do you think I can do?

It was very unreasonable of you to quit your job without having any available one to keep up with. Very wrong decision you made there.

Situation like this is the major reason why firms and companies hide their payroll and warn against discussing of earnings amongst workers. It has a way of discouraging workers.

Kindly go back to the job, keep managing it until you find a better place. You don't just leave in such manner just to be idle. Be reasonable, atleast for the betterment of your family.

I will refer you to the parable of the labourers in Matthew chapter 20. In summary it says that a landlord went out in the morning to look for labourers and promised to pay them one denarius for the day. In the afternoon he went out again and got more labourers for one denarius. In the evening again he brought another set of laborers to work for the day, to pay them one denarius each also. When the whole work was done and he paid them off, the ones that were hired in the morning started grumbling that why would he pay them the same amount of money as those who came in the afternoon, and even those who came in the evening and just worked only 1hr. And the landlord replied: I am not being unfair to you. You agreed to work for one denarius. Take your pay and go. Or don't I have the right to do with I want with my own money?

The reason I brought up this story is because you said you stopped working and you're angry because others are receiving more pay than you. But is it their fault? It is not even your boss's fault. You were desperate for a job, he gave you a job and you were so happy you even celebrated it. Don't be an ungrateful person by trying to revolt in any way. Even though the pay now suddenly appears small to you, it is still too early after just 3months to ask for a raise. Wait till like 6months to 1yr and if they don't increase it by themselves, ask for an increment.

Offer to teach the guy this your side hustle.

Find out the salary of those also handling the position you are in.

If you are the only one in the assignment you carry out, then ask your boss if you are an employee of the company or you are hired by who helped you secured the job.

Thanks so much for this advice,I have tried to learn online business but unfortunately I have duped severally and someone taught me about Forex but still I lost money on Forex too so I quit.
I am still working at the place what I meant was that I know about it this morning and I didn't feel like working again today.

Oh ok! I thought you have resigned already. Don't resign at the moment except you have a better substitute, securing a job in the country at the moment is really hard, instead find something else to assist the job.
As for learning the dropshipping business, I can't put you through that at the moment, quite busy, I'm really sorry.
