l once had this bitter experience of working with one NGO. They collected money on behalf of the guy, and gave him 10%. keeping the rest for themselves. The guy begged them to release the rest of the fund but they refused to do that.

Most of these people are scammers using people's predicament to enrich themselves.

l would have prefer the woman's account number to avoid this stories.

The woman may not have a bank account. The best to do is to get the name and address of the hospital. I will contact Vanguard to get the name of the hospital. Would update us with the outcome. Thanks.

To treat her is a choice the hospital made! If they cant, they can stabilise her and refer her to a Govt Hospital but once they made the decision to treat her, then they have taken on responsibility and must be accountable.
How does all the above that you wrote, JUSTIFY KIDNAPPING someone and her baby for 7months?
When did Hospitals become Prisons?

You either dont do or you do properly. undecided
just shut up if you have nothing important to say, she had a cesarean section. What do you want to stabilize and refer there? If you have nothing reasonable to say read and scroll.

Can you just imagine th level of wickedness, even with a newly born baby?
Will the hospital MD die, if thieves rob him of the remaining balance of 90K?
If she can struggle and pay 160K under this condition, l am certain she can pay the balance, if given time and some fools here are nonsense.

May God come through for her.

Dear men, if you are not ready to take responsibilities for your actions, zip up.

How are you sure it wasn't the husband who paid the 160k?

You think raising 250k for a low-income family is peanuts?

By the way if men won't zip up women can as well, it takes two to create a baby. Shared responsibility.

Tha fucck? shocked Imagine the plight of the little one and its mother sleeping on a tiled floor on cold nights? cry Indeed poverty is a bastard....If you've ever been poor and you later got rich, trust me you'd know the latter feels way better cheesy. Don't allow someone to brainwash you to settle for poverty. Poverty is vanity too...

That being said, why is the article silent about the baby's father? I'm sure the woman didn't impregnate herself. Beats me how struggling couples have unprotected sex/shun contraceptive use. Like do you just have a passion for bringing kids to the world to suffer? Smh

Exactly... A man will have sex without protection and there's no problem. When it results normally into a baby, wahala undecided

That is what I mean by 'an agreement'.

2. Please focus, no where have I stated she's to be blamed alone. This conversation began with you advising men to zip up when the person obviously suffering here is a lady, get it?

When it comes to sex, two people are responsible for the act, but one person is responsible for the stress of being pregnant – hard to digest, but it's what it is whether y'all like to admit it or not.

That hospital.must be shut down and every doctor in that hospital must loose their licence.

What a hell is this? Held her captive for nearly 7 months? This is one of the reason some people deserve beating and disgrace publicly.

But some Nigerian are naturally wicked. Haba!!!

Any donations should go to help her start a new life and prosecute the hospital. No single kobo should go to the hospital for holding her hostage even after paying up to 160k for usually inflated hospital bills

2. What if the man responsible had deceived her with fake promises like MOST Nigerian men do? And the poor girl scum to his pressure and fell for his tricks?

No wonder policeman will shot you, flog you and you will stil be saying Sorry-saah!
Who said anything about Hospitals demanding full payment before treatment?
Honestly, l should not give ears to simpletons like you, you desevre to die in your ignorance. Happiest people. grin
Keep it up, by the time you end up in prison one of these days, you will learn your lesson.

I’m more enlightened than you numbskull
Some of you think the threat of prison is everything, continue in your ego filled adrenaline rush, get high
The lady has not been discharged
For her to demand for a discharge, she has to clear her bills

No one is holding her from leaving after she clears her bills.
You just sit behind a phone typing gibberish without understanding the implications on the next helpless emergency victim who would be rushed to that facility but will be denied service until a substantial deposit is made

Instead of venting your vituperations on the hapless hospital who have even been gracious enough to give her a discount on humanitarian ground, vent your frustration on your government. If there was a stable economy, Jobs or even a functional comprehensive health insurance scheme, this won’t happen.

And yes, I know someone who was detained in a foreign country because of unpaid medical bills.

Lol
When next they rush you to a hospital for an emergency and the hospital demands full payment of an estimated bill or refers you to another facility when you can’t pay, you will understand the need the keep quiet and let people benefit from getting help while their relatives run around for money

When I was a newbie in the hospital I was at the forefront of treat people before deposit or financial commitments
By the time I constantly had my monthly salary debited for almost 1 year, I learnt to mind my business the hard way
Nigerians are the most ungrateful lots
No wonder doctors Dey japa go Saudi Arabia and Oman
