SEO is of two three types:

1. Generic (neither here nor there)
2. Local SEO (specific)
3. International SEO (specific)

Of the 3 types, two (local and international) are intentional, meaning you don't just arrive at them if you want the best of them.

There are certain strategies SEO specialists put in place to derive your result, depending on which. For the most part, local SEO is very easy to achieve using the right strategies while international SEO is difficult but pays on the long run, far better than any SEO type. At best, your traffic source will be primarily from the US, UK and Canada.

"Competent SEO" is not enough. You have to be intentional about your SEO strategy.
