Brazil have a average education. Not the worst in latin America but not the "good". The majority of people don't speak english. The only official language in Brazil is portuguese. If you don't speak portuguese is so hard studying in Brazil.
Brazil have many good university. Many of them are the best universities in latin America.

Nigerians who say that Brazil is worst than Nigeria are jealous of Brazil. Brazil is 100 years more developed than Nigeria. Lol

Leave Nigerians to wallow in their ignorance. Most south American nations exclusive of Venezuela have European living standards. Well developed with strong economies and strong passports. Brazil is visa free to all of Europe. It won't have that privilege if it was a shithole. Someone called Uruguay the richest country in South America a shithole. Many of them are ignorant. Do small research online. Brazil has a university in the top 100 what does Nigeria have? Google the ranking of the university of Sao Paolo. When people remove eyes from USA, Canada, Ireland, UK and Australia they would realise there are so many amazing countries that offer a lot of opportunities to its citizens.

Brazilian passport allows you to travel to over 170 countries visa free likewise Uruguay, Chile, Argentina. Poor Peru has around 132 countries and their citizens aren't struggling for American visa like us. Google the university of Sao Paolo. It's the best university in Brazil. Check the ranking globally.

Yes i know. São Paulo is the richest state in Brazil. São Paulo is more rich than entire Nigeria. Unfortunately not all brazilians states have the same fortune. North and Northeast Brazil are so poor for the corruption. I hope one day all brazilians states became rich like São Paulo.
Oh. Became a brazilian citizen for the nationality (passport). I undersdant. But for travel or live in Brazil portuguese is necessarily. Unfortunately the majority of the population don't speak english because English classes is so expensive. Maybe 5% of the population. If you don't know nothing of portuguese is very hard

Why are you emphasizing English in Brazil, Portuguese is their official language so deal with it.
Besides have you heard of BRICS before? If you haven't then hear this: Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa are the emerging strongest economies of the world. Google for more information.

Ok i live in Brazil. Is not impossible. I only say that the majority of Brazil don't speak english (Sorry) I don't know i have the impression that many Nigerians in the forum have the misconception that Brazil is similar Nigeria or other African countries in race and culture. Because Brazil only export black culture for tourism. I only have the impression of course.

The majority of Brazilians don't speak english ( correction). Maybe 5% speak english. Public universities only for exams. Called "Enem". Very hard exam. The majority of people in public universities in Brazil come from Brazilian elite. Rich white Brazilians of European ancestry. Public universities are for poor Brazilians. But the elite come from the best schools. Unfortunately today 90% of students of public universities are rich Brazilians ( most white Brazilians of European ancestry). But is not impossible. For foreigners required validation of certified

Your statement above is very ignorance.

Most South American countries have European living standards? Are you for real?

Uruaguay, South America's richest in terms of per capita income $17,000, is not even up to that of Czech republic which I'm sure does not make the top 30 in per capita ranking in Europe.

A Kenyan lady who visited Nigeria thoight Nigerians lived like kings due to the Nollywood movies she watched back home. She was disappointed.

I hope your info source isn't Telenova. Please search top 30 highest per capita countries in Europe and do one for South America and you'll be shocked by the difference.

Uruguayans are not running away from their countries enmass. Uruguay has a very strong passport with working holidays to Many European nations. A Uruguayan is licensed by the virtue of his passport to work visa free in Sweden. We Nigerians can only dream of such. You can look it up.

Let me share my two cents here.
Note that this my two cent is based on my vast travel experience and exposure. So if you don’t agree, e concern you.

I always see comments like “DO YOU YOU KNOW THEIR PASSPORT CAN TRAVEL TO 180 COUNTRIES”. Why do Nigerians keep judging a country’s standard of living by their passport index?

See let me tell you guys something!
You see all these countries that have many visa free destinations? 80% of their citizens will never actually travel out. Most of their citizens will not even have a passport till they die. Most of their citizens cannot even afford to travel regionally not talk of internationally. Their standard of living will not even give them such opportunity to make use of their passport advantages.

When I studied in England, most of the Brits I met did not even have passport. Infact some of their older generation have barely even visited big cities except they were deployed there during war times. The young ones that have passports, they plan their holiday one year, two years before hand. You will see them paying for holiday that’s in 2 years and they will be very happy at the thought of travelling. Most of them only travel to popular countries like Spain, Malta etc because of sun. Just very very few explore other countries outside Europe.

Apart from affordability, in most of these countries, their citizens are CONTENT.
If something happens, they protest and make sure everything is in order. They don’t have the mentality of JAPA. They believe they should fight for their country. They are not money hungry or greedy or want to oppress their village people.

When I traveled to Seychelles, I was surprised as to how their locals were very happy with fishing, and salt farming. One of the guys I spoke to, told me that nothing makes him happy more than waking up in the morning to go for fishing. He took me to one small hut looking house and told me that’s where he lives with a small boat.
Most of them don’t give birth more than 2 kids.
They just live and die peacefully, no stress.
That same Seychelles has one of the strongest passport, but that guy will most likely never even get his own passport.

How many times have you traveled to U.K. or Ireland etc and you meet people from Namibia or Botswana or Rwanda? Very few of them bother to travel. They rest just enjoy what their country has to over. But Nigerians full everywhere. You go to Yemen, you go see Nigerians. Our greed no dey allow us reason. We just went to cross border and start forming “I live abroad to pepper dem gang”.
Yes the country is trash and I don’t blame anyone trying to leave, but CHOOSE YOUR DESTINATION WISELY. Don’t think that because a country has good passport, you’re good to go.
Most of the time when you even get that passport, to travel no go even dey your mind again. You spend your remaining life years working and raising a family.

So @OP, research and make the right decision.
You want Brazil? RESEARCH WELL!

This is true. I read a research article that talked about only a very few percent of Americans owning passports or travelling out. The thing is that visa free status is never ever given out to poor shithole countries. Imagine Nigeria having visa free access to USA, Developed asian countries and Europe for even a month. This country would be empty. The citizens of those countries aint migrating enmass because their countries have everything. Why would a uruguayan leave uruguay? He has jobs, he has healthcare, he has food, electricity, good roads alongside an economy that is growin at least 6 percent every year same with brazilians. If not for covid, brazil's economy has already surpassed the UK. It is a 2 trillion dollar highly industrialised economy. Brazilian youths have access to amazing education and very low unemployment rate. Why would they wanna go somewhere else? Brazilians even have working holiday rights to Germany. Yet how many brazilians are in Germany. Try getting the German Job seeker visa from Nigeria. You go see whinnn.

You nailed it straight out of my mind.

When opportunities abound with a blossoming economy emigration is curbed.

When there is lack of opportunities combined with a stiffly economy migration skyrockets.

It’s not even about poor shit countries.
It’s about the ratio of people willing to immigrate. Do you know that if example U.K. offer free entry to citizens from Nigeria, Fiji, Vanuatu, Brazil, Seychelles etc.... I can assure you that Nigerians will be the number one highest on the list.
Yes people are poor in Nigeria o, but an average Nigerian can sell all this assets and even his neighbours, just to japa. Whilst a farmer from Fiji will not even give it second thought or stress.

and let me tell you, most Nigerians that leave don’t base their reason on poverty. Most of them no even send all this healthcare abi free education etc. Most of them just want to leave to oppress his so called enemies. Most of them leave because they believe they will become millionaires and come back to erect one mansion in their villages.

It’s just pure wickedness that make some Nigerians japa, nothing else. Do you know who I am mentality? Okuku one of South Africa grin grin
