Isa Funtua is late now but this hardline northerner created a lot of dust by the statement he made while granting interviews.

His northern brother Mamman Daura is presenting towing the same line with Isa Funtua that suggest the north want to hold to power for eternity.

But he said the truth na, Eziokwu bu ndu biko

This is politics.

This obsession with Igbo Presidency is becoming irritating.

We have left everything that matters to be talking nonsense.

I want good governance not Igbo presidency.

We even need to fix ourselves first.

What have our governors been doing since 1999?

Our brothers and sisters who have even headed the NASS, of what impact was it in the lives of an average Igbo man or Nigerian?

What have our state houses ever achieved aside from being in the pocket of governors?

Until we hold our own Igbo leaders (Governors, NASS members, state assembly members and LGA chairmen) responsible for our travails, we will always be chanting marginalization.

2023 is even done and dusted, let's forget about it and fix ourselves.

Don't play ostrich in a matter of such great importance. Honestly I'm not surprised, that's how we keep on failing the 'Nigeria' exam.

Of course yes if that competent Nigerian will fall from air but if it is thru those two major political parties in Nigeria that you're banking your hope to bring forth competent person, I'm afraid it will take a miracle.

Until then and when that miracle will happen, let Igbos have their turn for equity's sake. I'm confident that people like Peter Obi will make very huge and significant turn around of Nigeria if voted but again it is not a walk in the park.

I can't wait for the Fulanis to disappoint the SW APC in 2023, at least the dummies would stop opposing the break up of the country.

Re: 2023 Presidency: Igbos Are Not Part Of Nigeria - Isa Funtua by olisaEze(m):
Out of an approximately 11 minutes video clip, I didn’t see anywhere the late Isa Funtua stated that the Igbos were not part of Nigeria. He spoke as an APC party man on zoning the presidency to the SE, and not as an Nigerian elder statesman. I can’t fault him for that, it is his understanding of politics and governance.
They all talk like their party has no presence in the SE which to me is an insult to SEners in their party who contributed, even if it was only 5%, to the president’s 2/3rd win. It is indicative of a lack of sense of justice and fairness in their mentality to alienate these same people further as come 2023, that meager 5% might become a huge determining factor to the continued survival of their party.
