Generally, it's good to respect others first. He could have asked about the women's opinion of Trump presidency first.

Being able to holiday in Switzerland means they are probably better off than many black Americans.

You can see that the women's low opinion of non-Americans, non-UK Europeans (especially France), despising Obama & Africans, praising Brexit and other innuendos show they are Republican/conservative leaning people.

You can see the typical ignorance some Americans (not all by any means) & many Westerners spew. But there are many Americans who travel enough, learn foreign languages, curious about other people, tone down their pride, very engaging and thoroughly well informed. Whether they are democrats or Republicans.

Regarding taxes, they are higher in France than in Switzerland. Average income is higher in Switzerland too. But prices are prohibitive in Switzerland.

Certainly an American tourist would pay higher prices in Switzerland than in France for similar quality of goods and services. Many Swiss people living around the borders with Germany & France go to these country to shop because it's cheaper there.

While Switzerland is neutral in many international matters, France is virtually the only Western country that regularly takes a different view to America. With the last Iraq War when France & Russia wanted UN weapons inspection completed first. Of course we now now that the evidence Gen Collin Powell showed the world was fake. Powell feels humiliated till today and France was right.

So France is not popular with Republicans.
