Mine:

1. I naturally don't like doing anything that has to do with moving at night but this day caught me unawares.

In this case, I was coming from Biu LGA of Borno state. I arrived my location so late and exhausted.


I used the back of my hand to clean the dizziness off my eyes and fatigue and looked back for security reasons to see if I was still saved. I saw a figure in black. It kind of appeared and was hovering without its legs touching the tarred road. How my eyes could figure a darker black from the dark night was a mystery.


I doubled my walk speed. Soon I was running. I ran with all my veins because these figure seemed like if I reduced my speed it would hit me. All the speed I implored still left us at the same distance.

I remembered a training orientation and applied it but it seemed nothing was changing. The sweat in my body was streaming down my shoes from my body.

After running like for two to three hours that night and about to gas out from the heavy load on my back, a car passed by and I quickly turned back to see my Hitman...


Behold it was nothing. It was a mirage. My imagination oversused me.

2. If you have been to Biu, you'll agree with me that snakes are more plenty than humans. In the night, the snake cross the roads in hundreds. Like you'll see a snake before four strides. I recall carrying a drunk friend on my back and stepping on one, it bit my boot.

It continued that way till I reached my hostel.

Las Las, the guy I saved that night was my Judas some months later.
