Reason I asked, is dat my wife has been diagnosed of an enlarged liver. Every other factor that could have been d cause has come out negative eg hepatitis B.

Some hot injection or drugs can cause liver enlargement not only hepatitis B.
I have a personal experience of a relation who after delivery through ceasarian had an enlarged liver .After she went to to scan it was confirmed that the hot injection given to her after complications that arises from the operations caused the enlargement of the liver.We used Ugcare supplement to correct the abnormalities and today she is healthy and OK.
