Presiding Bishop, Living Faith Church Worldwide, David Oyedepo has spoken about a revelation God showed him on becoming Nigeria’s President.



While speakin on Sunday the man of God vowed that he would consider it a demotion if invited to become Nigeria’s president. Oyedepo, during his sermon, said God specifically, in 1984 asked him if he was interested in going top and that he answered in the affirmative. He said God told him,

“Then whatever I tell you to do, do it. Don’t run around: whatever I tell you to do, do it. Don’t muse about: whatever I tell you to do. Don’t do what they do: do what I tell you to do. “1984! Do you know that’s what led me to say,

“I will consider it a demotion…” and I’m saying it again, some are very upset about it, that’s their problem.“I will consider it a demotion if I were invited to be the President of this great country. It’s a great country, it’s a great honour for anyone to be President but that’s not where I belong. I belong to ‘above all nations,” he said.

Respect his calling? Are you on some special weed yourself? Why didn't Jesus Christ "respect" the calling of the Pharisees He lambasted almost every time they opened their mouths to speak? According to the Pharisees/Teachers of the Law/Rabbis... they too were "called" by God.

You don't understand or realize that this man and Adeboye are much more influential and revered across almost all the countries of the world - and they have been like that for almost 30 years now and still counting!

Does that in any way equate to being an unpopular president of a struggling nation for just 8 years?

Do you realize the number of Presidents around the world who consult these men?

This man would be worst and people will suffer in his hands. If as a pastor of a church there are poor crying and tapping annointing everyday and as a university owner where Only the rich can afford, how much more a president of a nation. Gone are those days missionaries uses their money to build free schools in villages like Anglican pry school, methodist high school etc .yet most of them attended those free schools
