I am looking for a way to save data entries on my data base using a custom form on my WordPress site.

What I want is to send type a figure and get it stored on the database.

Please any clue to this?

very simple

you have to first create the table using phpmyadmin

the you use $wpdb global variable to insert data into it

You can also use custom post type in WordPress hooks.
