Oh I see, I'm glad you were finally able to open your physiciansapply account. Still try your naira card when paying for SVR and ECA because I just paid for my ECA a few days ago and it still worked again despite saying it needs to be a credit card. No I didn't notarize my degree certificate, only my identity document form and passport copy as per their instructions and it was accepted.

Thank you.
I paid for SVR yesterday and my card still didn't work though I'm beginning to think its my bank. What bank card do you use.
I intend to get my documents notarized and sent before the week ends.

How many months statement of account did they specifically ask you to provide

They asked for the last year payslip I worked and “bank statements showing corresponding salary deposits”.

Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do about it. I know the ACCA diploma usually states “completion of one semester” and some pple have used it as “2 or more” and scaled through. It all depends on the VO that’s reviewing it.
Please don't take this personal but please try to filter your advice on here please. She is distraught already, saying this will only discourage her further. And NO, ACCA F1 to F3 is no longer evaluated as one semester. Just like Unilag diploma, it's now being evaluated differently. She can try to contact Wes to reevaluate her certificate again citing some of positively evaluated certificates. She can write a LOE, she can do something instead of making her believe she can't try at all. I remember Ednut1 advising people to not risk their application bby not using a certificate evaluated as one semester because this VOs think differently.

Yes, okay
Going by recent trends you should get ITA in the next draw. So no need to wait for the masters, dive into the pool like Michael Phelps if you haven't already
Just thinking 60 days feels too short to complete an application as I’ve lived in three countries and need to get police report in all three. Is it okay if I don’t respond to an ITA ? My Crs score is 481 At the moment . Thinking of accepting the ITA after the draw in mid November

Did you submit payslip or statement of account as at when you applied? You can send just the pages showing the day salary came in as they are only after the confirmation that salary stated was actually receieved by you

Do not reject it; try to get the documents before 90 days. PCC can be gotten within this period no matter how long the process could be.

Hello,
I am no expert, but what seems to make sense it to go ahead and evaluate your current degrees and submit your profile (after ensuring your simulated scores are correct as others have mentioned). If your scores fall short of the draws between now and when your masters is done, then you can evaluate it and update.

Good Day all. I need your advice, please.
I studied in the UK. I didn't do the traditional Bachelors, then Masters. I am currently doing my masters with Anglia Ruskin which should be completed by early 2021. I am 35 (you can see age is not on my side)
I. Which of the 2 might favour me more?
Thanks in advance.

Thanks a lot.
You seem to really get how strong french as 1st language can affect one's score.
A question on WES ECA cost: After evaluating my current diplomas, when my masters result is out and I want it evaluated, do I pay additional 200 CAD?
Mamaroon:

#MyOpinionNotIRCC's

2020 should be a lesson to us that no one can predict what 2021 will bring. Carpe Diem.

I won't get into the maths of your CRS, you'll work it out, I'm sure. I will say that you seem to have the advantage of 30 extra CRS points because of the TCF results (IRCC website seems to indicate it's when you update French as a 2nd language but applicants who chose it as a 1st with English as 2nd, still got the bonus points i.e. 30 points for being bilingual....you'll find out for sure when you complete your EE profile).

Why not begin your ECA to see how your diplomas will be evaluated (hopefully one of the diplomas was 3 yrs long)? Even if the ECA doesn't come out as "2 or more", at least you gave it a shot and can redo the ECA when you complete your Masters.

Redo your IELTS while you are at it....every point counts!

Regarding the NOC, it doesn't matter which you pick so long each meets the IRCC requirements and you can obtain a ref letter for either. This assumes your CRS is high enough for you not to need the PNP.

Thanks . Does that mean there is a 30 day grace after the 60 day period? Also how do I get my TRF number as I can only preview my British council administered IELTS result online. Yet to get the TRF from them due to delay in posting .

Hello all,
I am an IT professional with 7 years experience working for a top company UAE. Due to the recent visa issue for Nigerians in UAE, I have decided to migrate to Canada. I am married with kids. I checked the CRS score and could only amass 418. I have savings of about 12 million naira. So my options
1) Travel to Canada for MSC. I will have to pay fully for this cos I don't have good grade in BSC.
Also travelling will mean I will have to resign on my job of salary about N2m although most likely I will get another one.
2) Do masters distance learning online from UK or from other cheap universities so I can add to PR point but it will still be 456. The advantage of this is I still have my job in UAE and don't take much risks by jumping to unknown. But with this my CRS will still be too low.
I will appreciate any response/comment on this...

Just create a new profile. Once a profile becomes ineligible, it can’t be fixed.

I’ll suggest you go the route of Ontario tech Nominee. Express entry currently suites candidates below the age of 32 with an advanced degree (master or PhD ) and language scores at CLB 9 or 10.

You can evaluate your BSc and IELTS to enter the pool. Your spouse should also evaluate degrees and take IELTS. That will position you for any available PNP options that may require your NOC.

You can then pursue a Masters or a short course. If you want to do it via distance learning, ensure that it is from an accredited school/program that will be favorably evaluated by any of the ECA evaluation bodies.
