Reno Omokri Scolds Tacha For Referring To One Of Her Critics As A "Lazy Nigerian Youth"

Reno Omokri has condemned Tacha for referring to her critic as a lazy Nigerian youth, IgbereTV reports.

Tacha had gone on Twitter to call for an end to SARS while stating that Nigerians need to protest on the streets, not just on social media.

When she didn't go out to protest, a Twitter user @sayo_law called her out for it, writing: "So Tacha didn't lead a protest today? Disappointing"

Reno reacted by telling Tacha to be humble because those same lazy youths are the ones who voted for her when she went for the Big Brother Naija reality show last year.

He wrote:

"That may well be true. But remember that these same ‘lazy’ Nigerian youths went out of their way to promote you from obscurity to prosperity. A little gratitude won’t be out of place. I agree that celebrities should not be maligned or blackmailed into championing things they don’t have a passion for. No one should force you to lead a protest. However, those whose palm kernels were cracked by a benevolent spirit should not forget to be humble."

Reno shouldn't have wasted his time schooling her for free. She simply turned against one of those who made her an overnight 'celebrity'. Honestly a celebrity should be celebrated for something positively unique but for someone like Tacha, I'm not sure about what anyone will be celebrating in her to refer to her as a 'celebrity'.

During Jonathan's era, everyone was an activist. In fact, those days, Nigeria has the largest number of activists per square meter, worldwide. You see every Tom, Dick and Harry on the street forming activist up and down.
At the moment all our activists have become law abiding citizens, resting and patiently waiting for another Jonathan era before they continue their activism.
Tacha knows she still has a bright future ahead of her. The big gods business is booming and looks promising, she still has more lands and houses to buy, she won't trade that for the life of a martyr on the street.

As for Nigerians, all those long epistle by Reno is not necessary, he forgot that Nigeria is the biggest use-and-dump site in the world.
Use them to trend on Twitter, pick them up as your cheap fans to trend your wack songs, use them to trend BBN, use them as zombies to defend your bad governance, give them N1k each to vote for you, use them to promote your wack skits and so on. Then dump them back to the trash after use.
