Looks like you are struggling to comprehend what I'm saying..... I said Denel isn't the South African arms industry, we have dozens of private arms manufacturers that manufacture drones, airplanes, rifles, MRAPs, IFVs ect ect ect.

Denel hasn't been failing to deliver orders left right and centre as you claim, the only failed delivery was a lose making corrupt deal wrt the 40 Caspirs they would've delivered to Chad.

Also the none delivery of the T5 is not Denel but because of an agreement not being reached between Denel and the Sandf

Lastly source for the bolded please wink

The deal to supply Egypt with missiles went where?

Brazil left the A-darter programme.

Chad deal for MRAPs thrown out the window.

Denel is the largest and most important arms manufacturer in SA, the others don't really matter.

Paramount group just sells MRAPs.

The only other IFV available in RSA is made by paramount, they have not sold any.

Milkor only really sells hand held grenade launchers.

Truvelo sells snipers.

That's about the SA defence industry in a nutshell.

It doesn't provide any strategic importance to a country like Nigeria.

Nigeria needs to take a pass on doing Biz Military wise with S’Africa .South Africa is among the unreliable Countries that will drag out the production and eventual handover of Military equipment.
Chad wanted to buy Military equipment from S’Africa, they gave the green light , South Africa was unable to fulfill the request .
Chad would turn to ProForce in Nigeria for the same requirements.
True S’Africa has Missile Technology, but it is not for Sale.
It also is not worth the hassle, the baggage that comes with it.
There is a difference between national pride and priorities.
The Nigerian priority is two fold
G2-G2 Contracts with no baggage .
Military industrial complex to build Weapons such as APCs,MRAPs, Rockets , UAVs/UCAVs and eventually Missiles.
The “ Embarrassment “ of the GEJ years and the front page news of Nigeria trying to buy weapons from S’Africa should be an enduring lesson as to why Nigeria should ALWAYS pass when it comes to South Africa.

- They did not fail to deliver on an order already place..........Read my post again wink they lost that deal because they couldn't provide guarantees for the R4.5 billion contract due to its financial problems.

- https://www.janes.com/defence-news/news-detail/brazil-and-south-africa-conclude-development-of-a-darter-aam wink Mectron exited the project in 2015 not Brazil.........Good try though wink

- Chad deal was fraught with corruption, Denel would've made a massive loss on that deal. However I will concide the fact that they didn't deliver on a contract that was paid for is embarrassing

- Denel is the largest yes but they hardly have a monopoly in the industry in fact in Denel only make up around 25% of all arms exports from SA

- Paramount: MRAPS, IFVs, Ships (incl 85m OPVs), Aircraft, Drones,HMDs ect ect ect

- Milkor: MRAPS, Grenade Launchers, Drones, Boats, Cyber technology

- Truvelu: Assortment of Rifles

- DCD: MRAPS and mine protection equipment including the legendary Husky system

- Reutech : Radar, Communication and RCW systems

Other Defence companies, SAAB Grintek South Africa, OTT Technologies, Twiga Services and Logistics, Floida Engineering Services, Zero industries ect ect ect
