In this life?

No.

hahahahaha

90k and above, and I'm being very very generous.

Xiaomi made G90T and 720G cheap.

If it were Samsung or Oppo or Transsion, na 180 to 200k we for dey buy am.

Samsung sells SD675 for almost 140k one time.

Not an excuse. Battery optimization and performance cuts across boards. The truth is that Xiaomi sucks at battery performance.

Enough of the hype especially interms of battery. Their battery performance is wack compared to infinix.

I am using R9A and I have just lost 21% with 3hrs SOT. The battery also drops on idle mode which doesn't happen with infinix. I lost 2% when I left it overnight without touching it yesterday.

Apart from wack battery, their MIUI is also full of bugs.

Oga I don't believe you.

I bought the 9a for my younger brother and I monitor it's usage. His battery life is almost as good as mine.

I don't think you have used any infinix product before, otherwise you will know that the battery of R9A is wack. The 4000mah on the hot 5 I used some years back lasts longer than this 5000mah on R9A. Even my Samsung performs better in idle mode.

Infinity Hot and Infinix Note 2.

I can't believe you're comparing the performances of a phone in idle mode to that of an active one, are you serious?

Do you understand that there are several factors in battery consumption that varies from both internal and external (environmental). From network signal strength, usage pattern, time on, apps used etc.

I for one do not think you are using the R9a sir, and if you actually consider it to be so bad, sell it and good luck finding an Infinix or Samsung equivalent at the same price.

Miui 12 especially its full of bug issues so unstable and drains battery after an update on note 9

I sighted idle mode to show you how bad the battery performance is. I left my R9A on 25% by 12am and around 6am it has dropped to 23%.(with data Off) This doesn't happen with infinix nor my Samsung.

See my screenshot, I am down to 50% after unplugging the charger at 100% around 11am.

You are just disgracing youself by exposing your ignorance. It is obvious you know nothing about Tech, Otherwise you will know that battery performance has nothing to do with entry level, Midrange or flagship devices. Rather it has to do with battery capacity, screen size, resolution, and other advanced features.

Infact flagship devices tend to suffer more from battery drain issues due to their higher display pixels/resolution and many other power hungry features that they pack.

A 5000Mah battery on a entry/Midrange device like R9A will last longer than the same 5000mah on a flagship device like Xiaomi Mi 10 ultra or Samsung galaxy S20 ultra due to the aforementioned reasons.

Your screenshot proves nothing without a battery chart.

Show me your battery chart.

I'll reiterate, sell the damn phone and get an Infinix.

I believe you are convinced that it is your shiity Xiaomi now. Just look at the battery now on 44. The other time it was on 50. A whopping 6% loss

You charged to 100% around 11am and it's now 10:19pm. You still have 44% and you are complaining.

Is the battery not supposed to drain while it is being used? Nigerians sha...

Oga sell the phone and good luck finding a replacement from Infinix or Samsung within that price range.

I have a Samsung already. I just bought this one as a second phone because of its massive 5000mah battery but I am disappointed.

Been an ios fan for sometime now , after my experience with tecno and infinix products (spark 2,spark 3,camon 11,camon 12, hot 5,hot 6 pro), spent hundreds of thousands buying crap with wack processors, sometimes I have to wait 4 hours for these phones to charge to 100 percent, the so called camon 12 couldn't even play pugb on mid frame rate,.. swore never to use transsion products again and I went for ios which am still using till date..

After seeing lots of hype about xiaomi products, i decided to get one(note 9s 89,990 naira) and see for myself.

Firstly, the battery life was way beyond my expectations, heavy users won't have any fear with this.

stock cam portrait seems nice with nice object separation though not to be compared with my iph 7plus, but it ain't bad for its price, much better with gcam

body build is too premium, best body build I've seen so far on a phone at that range.

Gaming experience is flawless, playing pugb on high frame rate is as smooth as anything, game mode makes it easier to reply msgz while still playing without any lag.

the fingerprint sensor is too damn fast, unlocks like immediately without even showing any sign of the lockscreen being locked

The second space feature isn't something to be left out, no need running around hiding your contents

battery charging is way above average, fast charge works perfectly

What i love most about miui is its ability to be customized with various themes, applying themes doesn't just change icons and wallpapers, it changes the look everything in the system.. this is one feature i miss alot using ios

the ir blaster works perfectly with my Samsung tv and dstv decoder

the ear speaker for calls is awesomely loud, sometimes i just don't have to put it in my ear before I can hear what my caller is saying,,, this works best in noisy environments

Issues I came across after purchase..

The battery percentage jumping while reaching 90 percent, this was fixed by a hard reboot.

call speaker not coming up after an update, this was fixed by a later update sent.

Accidental unlocks when ever i touch the the fingerprint, i fixed this by changing the fingerprint sensor to unlock only when button is pressed.

so far i will rate my experience as 9/10..even my sis in law using an infinix product called me last nyt lamenting on how the the phone even with available storage can't take pictures and asking her to free up storage, then asked me if I've heard about redmi phones that she wants to get one, was shocked someone in kano even knows about xiaomi products..

anyone telling you xiaomi products are wack is purely an enemy of progress.. This is my honest experience so far..
still rocking my iPhone 7plus angry angry

It kinda looks somehow when you go from an ios device
(iPhones 6s+ and higher) to an android device, you’ll feel it in the performance, that’s why it’s recommended to go for high spec android Like the Redmi Note 9s when coming from iOS so you’ll not feel like the phone is slow.

I did the same thing you did , i changed from iPhone 6splus to Redmi Note 9 Pro and i can tell you the experience was very good. Am back to iOS now tho (iPhone XR) cos the phone is way too big for my hands and I just feel like changing ecosystems, although i still have a redmi 7a just to have the feel of the wide range of miui features.
