I know many protesters can constitute nuisance and try to act like senseless thugs especially if they are youth but the police should never ever ever ever ever shoot at them.
If the crowd are getting violent and wild they should disperse them probably with tear gas or something but never to shoot at them.

Go and check if those countries are fairing better than they were before the revolutions..The thing is,revolutions like those are usually hijacked by some folks for selfish Interest.We have to be careful the kind of revolution we are asking for..Because an average Nigerian has already a mentality of embezzling and all other corrupt practices when get to positions of authorities....We find all these evils among SUGs in our Tertiary institutions,CDAs in our communities,Social Clubs & Associations,Business partnerships etc....Why is it like that? Hope u realize SARs is just a unit of the police and there are other units of the police. There are actually other anti robbery units in the Nigeria police force.

Ending SARs doesn't mean end police. It's simply ending a unit of the police which is out of control.
