It's not an effective idea (in the long term) to COERCE people into adopting your approach to a cause.

Persuasion is more effective. Just not coercive guilt tripping.
Am I saying the FSARs oppression is right? No!

But people should not be coerced or guilt-tripped.

Why? Because IF everyone always supports an emerging cause (blanketly), just out of fear of consequences of non support, the whole country would be an echo chamber. And there'll be no genuine opinions on how to better achieve our aims— or sincerely criticize our approaches.

Persuasion is always better.

It may. It may not. I think they have achieved what they wanted already, which was to make sure d price doesn't remain at 50. Earlier, there was unusual scarcity of d product in d market. It was actually artificial scarcity created by d suppliers to force d price up& give justification for increase. After d price was set at 100 during scarcity, then they began supplying d product again. By then d nigerian law of price which says that once d price of a product goes up, it doesn't come down no matter how much product is in d market was already in motion

Oga. It is society that decides what role the church plays in governance or politics or whatever. Society has to decide whether it wants the church involved in its affairs in general or not. You cannot berate the church on Tuesday for 'interfering" and berate them for not on Wednesday. These people in church are answerable to a God society decides either to accept or reject.

Remember the church has spoken several times about governments, goivermjent policies and government actions and inactions in the past and I cannot remember at anytime it met with universal acceptance or approval by the citizenry. God"s people are not switches to be turned on and off at will. They too can be victims of government's malfaescence but you must understand that quite often they have stood quietly alone as victims.

Where was society throughout the times their members have be slaughtered the length and breadth of Nigeria for decades now. What has society done for them that to mock, heap blames and castigate their own cries. Please.
