Ended what. The protests continues. They only said that to distract the youths. Nothing was ended. The inspector general does not even have the rights to end SARS. Only the president can via an executive order.

Do you know I have always thought of the kind of stuffs NLC and Nigerians should be protesting for:

1. National Assembly members remuneration (and dissolution of one of the chambers).
2. Ensuring LGA allocation is received directly by duly elected LGA chairs not state governors (note also not caretaker chairmen).
3. Cancellation of the ridiculous Pension package for any elected office holder, 'serving' for 4 or 8yrs should not get any pension not to talk of the alarming package they signed for themselves.

PS: I was saddened watching the budget presentation and seeing Buhari, mischievously, repeating item F (NASS budget) of the Budget more than 3 times mockingly, while majority of the lawmakers cheered in joy! N128bn for 102 senators and 360 Honourables!!

Compare to N35bn to Healthcare in the same budget for instance.

I hope #EndSARS will not die and metamorphosis into a more serious youth pressure group to ask and protest for critical matters affecting us and growth we desire.

To hold elections structure in Nigeria has to be reformed because it is very chaotic,Ondo has a population of 3.5 million people and 1.9 million registered voters but only less than 600 thousand people vote. If you take the amount of people which voted to the population it is about 18%. If you take the amount of registered voters to the amount of people which voted in the state it is less than 30%. Most elections in the country is a total disgrace. Look at Somalia when did the election's over 70% of the people go and vote, South Sudan is the same thing, Ghana South Africa Kenya more than 80% of the population go and vote. If the election commission is choosing governors and president with less than 30% of the registered voters voting and less than 20% of the population voting it is very sad.

Since less than 20% of the country is going to vote in any election I think the election commission must be also gotten rid of

I was of the same opinion too.
I even created a thread to that effect.
But some people here on Nairaland thought that I was wailing.

I'm against this #Endsars protest, because it has an ulterior of favouring yahoo boys, but since the FG has yielded to their demands what next? From End EFCC, to end police will now be trending.

Anarchist wants to takeover Nigeria and FG is too soft on them, I hope the military will step in soon sha.

Most of the people in the country are ignorant and illiterate they do not know what's good for them. If you tell them come and take 5000 Naira and vote for a criminal see how do we run

Let's be serious most of the police officers know who do fraud transfer but they will not go after them they will rather be collecting money from poor people. Just look at all the African countries how they are picking up Nigerian fraudsters right left and Centre the police force. Rather are police force is on the road collecting money who are the biggest criminals in Nigeria politicians form both PDP and APC. You need to understand one thing developed countries are making a hell of money out of this Nigerian fraudster. The former reserve bank governor under thabo mbeki in South Africa say for every one US dollar you commit fraud against the developer would they take 4 US dollar for your country. Finance Minister of Zambia and also finance minister of Malawi said the same thing when you take one US dollar in fraud money from the developed world they take three US dollar from your country legally that is how it goes. The developed countries starts complaining Nigerian fraudsters are giving them problems the next thing they start taking Nigeria's oil for free
