He said officers of the disbanded unit would be retrained and given other responsibilities in the Force, but would not be reabsorbed into the new outfit.

Nonsense talk, take the disbanded unit to the North-East to join the fight against boko haram and recruit another new set of intelligent brains and not ex convicts.

"He said the unit would be made up of fresh personnel with a new orientation and not officers from the scrapped unit"

This hardworking man thinks he's providing solutions, he doesn't know he's provoking wailers the more!

To please these guys - our wailing colleagues - don't try to fix things.. In fact, the more you sabotage Nigeria, the more endearing you appear to them..

Wailers are like moirologists (hired criers)... They wail, not because they are bereaved; but because, that's how they make their living... grin

But in the end, Nigeria will be great... cheesy

God bless Nigeria.

Should be professional holistically in line with international best practice

How do Nigerians expect to have international rated policing when they elect f*ols as leaders all because of tribe and religion? How do u want to get Europe standard of policing when Nigerians have refused to accept the truth and restructure. There is no reasonable country with Nigeria's unitary federalism that has made it in life.

Dear Nigerians. U can't have people like Buhari as president, u can't keep electing people like tinubu, Kalu, and the rest and expect better policing. Not possible.

If u want a great country, we need to seek for a review of our constitution and political structure.

Police recruited will still live in barracks right? Have u checked out how barracks are? Do u think anyone who lives there can behave normal?

Shebi police that will form the new unit will still be using their money to buy fuel for their patrol vehicles abi?
They will still pay for their uniforms abi? They will still be poorly paid abi? No insurance abi?

Those police in Europe, have we checked how they are managed?
Nigerians, we blame the wrong people. The people we need to push are our political leaders. They have destroyed the country and we need to fix them up. The current political system is a mess.

Senators earn so well for doing nothing while teachers, security men, etc who work far better and paid poorly and we expect them to perform like their counterparts in europe. We are funny.

how could training take place when there are no recriut yet. is he trying to say they are training the old sars? it would only take one month or two before they go back to their former life style.

except they are bringing people from the military, civil defends and dss.

Selling your dog and purchasing cats. Four legged animal is still in your house.

They will end SARS and set up a new police outfit where all the SARS officers will be transfered with a new name. Meanwhile, their mentality will remain the same towards the general public. Well, shame on Nigerian police!
Re: EndSARS: Training Of New Police Unit Begins Next Week - IGP by CEOnurse: 10:09pm On Oct 12, 2020
Police self na official armed robbers dem be
Armed robbers in uniform
Place them in another unit and after few months watch what would come up again cos they would want to get back all the loots they missed
He is talking about investigation, so they now feel that all Nigerians crying out are telling lies? How many of the cases have they verified since complaints were made? Until one visits a station you go know. I went to police station to report a robbery incident that took place in my apartment and my gadgets taken away plus other things and after writing a statement the policeman said I will need to open a file with 5k

Most yahoo protesters wanted the IGP to dismiss all SARS units, dismiss all anti fraud unit, and give them freedom to do their cyber crime unchecked.
The crime rate in Nigeria is high, SARS should undergo more professional training, while a new intelligent force unit to tackle yahoo boz should be established.

It is totally clear to me that SARS is pure anti-south agenda.. They were not initially trained and retrained to flex their muscle in the Northern region where bandits, terrorists, kidnappers, fodio gangsterism, drug peddlers and abusers, extreme gamblers, Islamised paedophilism and sodomy, illegal bureau de change operators who are scammers, conduits and launderers, illegal almajirism, etc... have the strong hold..

-WHO GAVE THIS SECTORAL OR NEPOTIC ORDER..?
