You can try ATBU,Bauchi is not volatile.

Noted. I will have to do some due diligence on ATBU and Bauchi State.

I'm still open to more options. Course specifically is English Language and Literature. Thanks.

Visit any PG library in a University within your location.Preferably,a Federal University, you'll see similar topics then you identify gaps that you can improve on.

Goodluck!
Thanks for your prompt response. Tried that in few schools around, state & federal but nothing meaningful came out as the subject matter seems to be a virgin one to most of them. Empirical study such as this is better carried out in crisis thorn areas.
I will extend my tentacles anyways. Thanks once again

Lecturer where? this should be based on the continent, country and location you want to become lecturer and your immediate goal for next 5 years and goal for next 30 years if you are currently less than 80 years now.

You will need to think; if you will be based in Nigeria as an example, you have to check how many universities are currently offering programs in your proposed master field. If you can find a good number distributed regionally then means chances of getting a job may be higher. So if your permanent location or next 5 years lecturing will be based in Nigeria and they have many universities in Nigeria studying Microbiology then you can go for it.

For example, in Nigeria banking and Finance is a very common course almost where almost all universities offer this program ........but in several countries, I have lived, lectured or visited they dont do this course. Common related course is often economics, international finance and MIS so these set of people work in banks in these places.

Developed countries and real developing countries are currently or have been applying artificial intelligence in almost all field leading to massive development and scaling up start-ups......I have not actually read about a university in Nigeria offering programs in this field maybe until 100 years to come. So if someone have Msc and PhD in artificial intelligence such person will be hotcake abroad but cold or no cake in Nigeria for now in terms of lecturing.

So consider your local environment, immediate goals, 15 years targets as main parameters and set aside changing world and advancement as a variable to reach your conclusion.

Best wishes

Thanks Prof. for your words here. They open my eyes to have a global perspective and most be restricted to local constraints.

*** Clarifying the different categories of postgraduate scholarships ***
The international scholarship space can be quite confusing both for new and old applicants alike. In this video, I attempt to shed light on the confusion by revealing the major categories of postgrad scholarships. I also clarify which scholarships require emailing professors.

Why do you write here that Turnitin is the best plagiarism checker? have you compared Turnitin performance with other 150 existing software for plagiarism and reached this conclusion? For me I have compared it with 10 others. As a real academic if you guys are; to make any claim you must be able to proof and have practical evidence to support your claims. Take note: I am not disputing Turnitin being great to check plagiarism but stop saying its the best.

Quillbot: this is not plgiarism remover; its AI-powered software that paraphrases your texts, and in technical science it may not be appropriate for technical terms. Example: Quillbot changes "a stable photocurrent density" to " a robust photocurrent density" ..........in technical term robust cannot be used for photocurrent as it totally means different things.

In this thread, we encourage students, researchers, lecturers, teachers and instructors to write their theses/dissertation themselves so they are able to defend their degrees. Any students that outsourced his/her thesis out is not worthy to hold the degree. That's why you see a minister or commissioner of power with a degree in electrical and power engineering but cannot provide any meaningful solution to power crisis nor even knows the differences between transformer and converter since both of them converts the voltage current. If such a person does the research work and writing; many things will be discovered along the line; its unethical and fraudulent to write a thesis for a student.

You help researchers publish in high indexed journals sound like a joke to me. Who will be the corresponding author? you or the researcher? since the corresponding author must submit the paper with his/her email account details. For instance, one of my current works is on gold nanoparticles embeded polymeric whiskers for cancer cell targetting; if you help me to submit this studies to a journal and the journal sends a revision who will reply all the comments from the reviewers? you that don't have 1% knowledge about my work or who you will hire to respond?

It is very absurd and fraudulent to make this claim of publishing for someone in high-indexed journals. I am sure you really dont know what high indexed journals mean and neither do you have a proper understanding of the academic world.

In this forum, we encourage all researchers to do their research work, publish their work, and participate. What this forum is about is for people to ask questions when they are stuck during the research, so experienced researchers and academics can supply comments and suggestions.

For Nigeria to grow to prominence researchwise, lots of people need to be honest and modest. The one you helped to write a thesis and publish paper will turn out to be a commissioner of education soon....so what do you expect? Such a person cant contribute to educational development in that state or country since he/she is a fraud.

I know who you are, this is your side to it. It looks like 6 because it faces you, to me it is 9.

Forget about digit, either 6 or 9. The truth is, let's learn to do both writing and publishing by ourselves. We are academia and should do things as one, not like road side mushroom scholars. If you don't know how to publish, you can ask question about it, the reason for the thread.

It's difficult for people to answer this type of question, your career aspirations will play a key role in deciding the numerous acdemic disciplines to choose. Before making a decision, there are a wide range of variables that you need to remember, some of which might not have been obvious at first.

The first question you can ask yourself is why you want to first study a Master's program. Ask yourself, is a Masters degree appropriate for my job? not all jobs require a master or PhD degree take note. Will you be pursuing postgraduate research to boost your job opportunities, joining a new occupation or accelerating advancement?

Also, you should be more concern about job trends, even oil and gas still drives many economies can this be sustained and what are the prospects for a newbie? These days in developed worlds and some developing nations; the trend is shifting towards low-cost and renewable energy sources; portable electronic devices and wearable communication gadgets.....so is your country or current place of a resident also shifting gears towards these booms? How easy to get into these fields. Ponder with that.

Personally, I will ask you to look towards the prospects of No. 3 and 4.

Best wishes!

hmmmmm is this how poor your reasoning IQ is?, I just want to see the pattern of how it is written just the way people do when they ask for sample statement of intent or motivation here in order to know what it covers eg work and research experience, educational background, accomplishments, etc. I know you must have used the samples of Statement of intent posted here to write yours. Even secondary school English Language Textbooks give one samples of formal and informal letters after explaining how it is written. I don't copy and paste if you do. My story and yours are not the same so I can never copy and paste another person's story and research interest. So my dear, always think before you act, it is very important.

Bro, you were wrong. Don't you review other people's work and use it to train yours? No one writes without viewing other people's work. Even, our prof cannot say he hasn't used people's ideas to write is own. Your initial assumption was wrong. Peace!
