I need answers to the above question.
If the Armed Forces receives their salaries via IPPS.

I believe ASUU has no right to reject the IPPS payroll system.

Some Ignoramus who have refused to be schooled but are all round commentators on issues they've got little or no knowledge on, keep making this statement: "How can ASUU be dictating to his employer on how he should be paid? I trust Buhari will deal with them."

Congratulations and Weldone! Buhari is really dealing with them. Meanwhile, this is what Nigerian law says;

"The Universities (Miscellaneous Provisions) (Amendment) Act 2003 (otherwise called the Universities Autonomy Act No. 1, 2007) enacted by the National Assembly and signed into law on 10th July 2003 and later gazetted by the Federal Republic of Nigerian Official Gazette No. 10, Volume 94 of 12th January 2007 as Act No. 1 of 2000, has vested the powers of managing personnel and payroll system issues in the hands of each university’s governing council".

Has this Act been repealed by Buhari's government and replaced with "OAGF is vested with the power to manage the payroll of all public universities through IPPIS"?

Lets set our emotions, loyalty and interest aside and behave like educated people. Presidents will come and go, and Nigeria will remain. Use your head!...

Don't assert what you aren't sure of.

All members of the armed forces including police and all paramilitary agencies are paid using the IPPIS platform

Why then do you guys always go to meet the FG for salary increment or allowances, why don't you guys negotiate with governing council instead since you claim you have a law backing you up on that?

one way to be self funded is for students to pay tuition of nothing less than 500k naira!

They do not know how to teach anything but produced many world renowned people, Chinua Achebe, Whole Soyinka, Femi Falana, Late Gani Fawehinmi, etc
Many Nigerians who are making names outside the country have their background in Nigeria higher institutions.
If you google various researches you will see the work of these people you claimed know nothing, despite no materials to work with!
I do not think any private university charges less than 500k in Nigeria and the bulk of their funding comes from this tuition. Public Universities will also be able to generate huge funds that will be enough to fund them and still remit to the national treasury if students pay appropriate fees.
Take note that ASUU has been seriously fighting FG on the introduction of appropriate fees in our public Universities, because ASUU thinks that will deny poor Nigerians education!
Re: Are The Armed Forces On IPPS Payroll? by 9jatriot(m): 8:13am On Oct 14, 2020
That is my point exactly, the man collecting IGR says this is how you will be paid, then you go and look for one law that it is the governing council that has a right to talk about your salary, the same governing council put in place by the man collecting IGR to be like a caretaker managing her affairs as regards the university, you say that caretaker is your employer to tell you about how you are to be paid. Tell me what kind of reasoning is that.

If you insist that only the governing council has the power to handle your payment, then you can also go to them anytime you want salary increment and let them source for money to pay you. It is that simple

Buhari should declare any lecturer that refused IPPIS a ghost worker or his post vacant, because he refused verification, how can an employee decide which platform or database his employer wants to use to pay him or as verification process to minimize the loop holes and money drainage, ASUU have no professional or moral justification to reject IPPIS, it is an abuse and absconding of responsibilities.
