Not possible... especially if they are really filled with the Holy Spirit or are Matured believers who constantly live in holiness.

They could however make little mistakes, but the mistakes will easily be recognized by them as mistakes when they are shown to them... They are not deliberate. But be aware that they would not be making mistakes all the time... Only very few times. So always go through every bit of the teachings and prophesies of those who teach & prophesize, and make sure they're word of GOD and true.

False prophets and teachers cannot do those. If the signs and wonders are real (not tricks or false), they are definitely true servants of GOD.

If they can't miss it why would Paul say that others should judge the prophecy . What are they checking for if not to check for anything that may be inconsistent

What exactly do you mean by "miss it". Prophesizing lies or making mistakes?

Not just judging prophesies but also teachings by people who claim to be prophets/teachers. I believe that is how a Church ensures that false teachers and prophets are not in the church leading believers astray. People who are filled with the Holy Spirit won't make mistakes in prophesies and teaching or tell lies. This is why it's important to be led by the Holy Spirit

Not just judging prophesies but also teachings by people who claim to be prophets/teachers. I believe that is how a Church ensures that false teachers and prophets are not in the church leading believers astray. People who are filled with the Holy Spirit won't make mistakes in prophesies and teaching or tell lies. This is why it's important to be led by the Holy Spirit

Was he a false prophet? If not that God stopped him and save the situation that day . He would have made a mistake. Mistake of a prophet or teacher doesn't constitute falsehood . Its the heart that counts .

No he wasn't. He "thought", he did not prophesize and the LORD eventually revealed the truth to him which he went on to prophesize.

False Prophet Do Perform Signs & Wonders Too. When Moses Threw Down His Staff & It Became A Serpent, D Egyptian Magicians Too Did Their Own.

Dey Can Miss It, But Dat Doesn't Make Dem A False Prophet. Every Genuine Prophet U See Today Made A Lot Of Mistakes. D Truth Is Dat Dey Didn't Let D Mistakes Weigh Dem Down Rather Dey Learn From Dis Mistakes & Became Perfect In D Prophetic Experience.

He Wasn't A False Prophet, He Only Made A Mistake. Note: God Didn't Give Him D Specific Name Of D Person He Should Anoint. God Only Told Him To Anoint One Of His Sons To Be King. He Logical Chose Elihab, Possibly Because He Was D Eldest & According To D Law Or D Way Things Had To Be Done, He Chose Elihab. So, Anyone Could Make Dat Mistake. If I Were In Samuel Shoes, I Would Av Done Dsame.

Note: God Did't Give Him D Specific Name Of D Person He Should Anoint. .

That's how prophecy works . He doesn't tell us details most times. We fill the missing gap by experience and training .

He thought(meaning it was from him not from GOD). That was not prophesy, prophesies are from GOD. When we prophesize, we are speaking what GOD tells/gives us to speak, not our own thoughts.

We are talking about prophesies. What Samuel did there wasn't prophesy. It was what he thought. I usually use the word "think" when I am not prophesing. I do this many times whenever I'm speaking to my family. False prophets normally claims to be prophesing what GOD told them to prophesize. That is lying against GOD if HE didn't ask you to prophesize anything.

Moses staff really turned to serpent. Only GOD can do that. Only HIM can turn stone or dust to human. Only HIM can create life.

NO. THEY TEACH AND PROPHESY MESSAGES FROM GOD. BORNAGAINS ARE APOSTLES OF CHRIST JESUS AND THEY TEACH AND PREDICT LIFE AS JESUS DOES.

Hope you understand what "thinking" is?
GOD gives HIS prophets the word to say.
You don't think it. Besides, when you are thinking/judging something, it must be based on the Word Of GOD. You still don't need to totally rely on your own thought/judgement. I normally wait for GOD to confirm it directly to me. HIS confirmations is usually flashes in your head/mind or even by HIS direct "speech"
Samuel thought was worldly, that is why the LORD corrected him. It's not from GOD.

When a prophet tells you "I think" or "GOD is telling me/GOD told me", which will you trust more?

Also There is difference between "Thinking" and "a thought drop"

The word of God can Can come as a dropping thought . God do drip thoughts in our heists thats how the " still mall voice"operate. .

Satan do suggest thoughts to us also. Jesus temptation was in thoughts but the enemy was dropping the thoughts . It was coming to him like prophecy would . It was even quoting scriptures.

The point is . Its a thing line . If Jesus had yielded . That wouldn't make him a false minister. Peter yielded to the enemy . He was still head among the apostle
