Congratulations, just curious what documentation post training entails ?

Can you share with us if isn't classified ?
It should be similar to the Final year clearance everyone did after uni graduation. just that this time it would be academy clearance. I feel you will account for all weapons, training uniforms and some academy effects given to you during the training.

Everything academy gives you belongs to you.. weapons are checked out and back in everyday.. you can’t go to lines with it. All uniforms belong to you and you’ll sign for them when you collected it and that should be that..they collected the last of their kits and swords a couple of days before passing out I believe..

Please is it possible for a candidate to change from DSSC to SSC at any stage before training commences?

it subjects to Army Selection board discretion if you fall within the age needed for SSC. you will then have to resume as SSC instead of DSSC this is at the final shortlist.
Though it won't be forced on you, you will have the choice of accepting the SSC offer or quitting the Army dream. It happened in DSSC24/SSC45 2018 enlistment.

This will only happen if there’s a problem with the number of resumption’s for Ssc.. irrespective of the number of applications if the few are enough, there won’t be any need to source from Dssc..

Documentation as it entails, is like just giving your details now to Nigerian army as your are now a full property of the army after graduating from NDA, you will give details like, Bank information (current account, as most cadets use savings), Pensions, NOk, signing of oath of secrecy and allegiance, for married officers you give name of your spouse and 4 children (if u have up to) plus 1 dependent for free medical purpose, and any other personal details and documents for army records

I think anything that belongs to the Academy especially those you can't use when you become officers.

That might not be the only thing they were doing since then, pension will take 2days from that, collection of posting letters to corps also, so it might not be only documentation, and considering their number again

From the unprecedented low turnout for SSC, the Army will most likely source from DSSC applicant pool for SSC cadets.

at least there are still 5000 applications for Ssc that still fit all criterias and if they invite 3000 of them for screening and 1500 report and Medicaid drops 1000, they still have 500 and somebody said they will take 300 even when I heard they will take 500.. they might or might not source from Dssc..

hmmm brother, Its possible alot, first, sequel to your response to a soldier shooting himself, as cadets there is a golden prayer every instructor prays for us "May we never be captured by the enemy", bro plssss NEVER pray to be captured by the enemy, NEVER EVER. As officers of the armed forces death is not a thing we fear, we are prepared, trained for it. Do the brave thing when the chips are down before the enemy.

Secondly, it's very possible that you run out of ammo in battlefield, experiences of officers and soldiers that have being in the frontline have made it glaring to us, presently in battlefield, forget having your "First line scale" I'm sorry I cant explain further what it means for security purpose. Without your first line scale how can you engage an enemy for even 2hrs of intense firing, thanks to armour and artillery though. Without those guys just forget it!

I hope I made little sense, I pray all of you on this list make the forthcoming shortlist really, my prayers are with you. This group made me!
officers are not scared of death is that not? Don't let them decieve u, deep down all man dey fear death

But why is that Nigerian military is not always allowed to be a riffle (gun) when they are not on duty or carry it home with them?
They are only allowed to use it when they are in a special operations or mission.

And as a military personnel is it permitted to have or posses your own personal riffle?
u want make them dey use am go run omila for express way?
