Yes and know what citizens should do... We hold ourselves accountable for it if we fail to protest #End SARS# End police brutality
[ quote author=Arrewa post=94996234]Sometimes our politicians deserve some beating!

Have you ever wonder why kano is developing?

We hold our politicians accountable for our federal allocations.

We know what the president should do... We hold him accountable for that!

We know what a governor should do... We hold the governor accountable for that!

We know what senator should do... We hold our senators accountable for their jobs!

We know what a house of representative members should do... We hold them accountable for that!

We don't blame the president for what a governor or a senator should do

That's why kano is growing!! That is why kano is developing! [/quote]

I like honest and intelligent people like you. This what I always tell them: Akwa Ibom and Osun states have approximately the same human population but Akwa Ibom state monthly allocation from FG is times 10 that of Osun state, yet their unemployment rate is higher than that of Osun state. They can't even boast of magnificent public school buildings like that of Osun state. Even their poverty incident is higher. But they would rather blame FG/Buhari than asking their governor to be accountable
They are so blind but proud and even proud of their blindness. Foolish people who think north is filled with mud houses (because the media shows their villages). Make Dem enter their cities see wonders. Why is it that their relatives in the north never come back? Is it not because of the facilities they enjoy? Very foolish untraveled lots.
And as for the Ibomites, they feel because they are an oil state all should come from FG forgetting that a lot are expected from their states. In fact much more. And then monies are allocated to them via their governors. But they'll rather shout and blame FG for everything.
When they see northerners protest, they'll say aboki don dey open eye. Meanwhile these Niger delta militants fools hallow their corrupt cartels for government officials. You'll never see them say they want to lynch their officials or even protest. Never! Their politicians make use of some of the who are cultists for election and DUMP THEM when being used. Well, Edo election went well o but watch as those youths who sacrificed their lives would be dumped. But still they see the average hausa as a fool. Hausas don't have allocation like these Niger delta states (as per oil money and 13% derivative) but with their own allocations and resources, they develop their states WELLA. They loot o but they work too (unlike SS politicians that loot and never work).
I tell people that should Nigeria split, I swear to God the only set of people that would enjoy so much from the break up are (in order of enjoyment):
1. Yoruba - cause of their cooperation and then double blessing, access to the ocean. Their government would be perfect
2. Hausas - They may not know the meaning of ocean, but they Farm and they're unified. They'll join the Arab league and develop their cities fast (like the Arabs do). It may be a landlocked country o but it will be developed (ask Kazakhstan).

You see the set of people that will suffer (in order of suffering):
1- SS - Unless they join the Yoruba nation of which I trust the yorubas to treat them well, they'll suffer cause they know no cooperation and their politicians are really ruthless. Gosh! Should they join the SE, worst cause those ones would dominate and rule over them for selfish reasons
2 - Ibos - Their competitiveness with each other alone is enough to kill them. An ibo man can just be an antagonist for worthless reasons. They love to compete with themselves to prove a point. They envy each other like madness. They're desperados. They are never United (forget ipob lol). They hate each other. An average ibo is ready to kill his brother over property. Siblings fight each other over wealth or funny enough their siblings wealth. They travel to the village not really for unity but to show off. Siblings kill for property o, but not as common as that on ibo land. Not half as common. Everybody would want to rule. Everybody would want to be heard unnecessarily. Everybody would want to disrupt. It won't be funny. I also pray their police would not be corrupted cause their love for money is sickening. The poor would be oppressed cause ibo people love oppression (particularly to the poor). I swear you no get money for meeting for ibo land youll be oppressed. The arrogant rich would carry out the "oppresional duty grin " and the government would do NOTHING to help. Rich ibos are the most arrogant. They can oppress especially their fellow ibos. The ibos I know would still migrate to the nearest Yoruba land. That's an ibo man for you. Dem sabi make mouth but when the chips are down, they want to turn it to a joke so that you all laugh about it and forgive them. They just feel they can outsmart anybody. I'm saying this but it is true. This their nature would make their system quite ungovernable. Only the enugu people I see are different from the average ibo I know.

"This is funny but there is no need for that.
Vote him out or impeach him instead of resorting to this."

Midterm elections are held in d US to use to test d popularity of d political parties& their candidates For instance, if d president is elected in 1998, midterm elections will hold in 2000.
This guy's beating is his midterm election. It's a demonstration of his popularity or otherwise among his constituents. This will determine if he will be returned to office in d general elections.

this is the first step
1 a legislation should be passed, non performing politician should be flogged on the stage after their tenure.
2 a bounty should be placed on the head of corrupt politicians
3 the passport of corrupt politicians and their families should be seized
4 all government funances should be on the internet from revenue generation to spending to the last kobo and should be reviewed/ audited by independent bodies

The most important and should be top of the list... "No Politician or intending Politician should have dual citizenship". This is to stop them from running away after committing their atrocities.
