Biased journalism.
You cannot just pick terrible roads and leave the good ones.
Sometimes, you do not blame govt for everything.some community leaders have selfish motive. If one rich man volunteers to build the road, they will ask for commission. Sometimes, contractor must settle then before they begin.
We are all part of this mess
The aim of the post is to profile BAD roads. If you want to profile good roads, open a thread for it.
So community leaders will repair federal roads abi?? Abeg get tha hell outta here!

I honestly don't know what I would go find on Google when we are in the middle of a 10years insurgency that has given birth to banditry, and the resultant lack of farming in an otherwise self sufficient area

Dude, Earth is not a paradise. The areas where there is no insurgency (ie 99% of Nigeria), GO THERE AND FARM. You've ignored all those places to focus on ''NE'' out of desperation to criticise Nigeria.

Has there been a revolution in health care?
I think not, even the president would disagree since him, his wife and son prefer foreign hospitals

People like Buhari are scared of their rivals compromising hospital staff, and their getting treatment abroad is actually due to trust issues in the political arena.

There is an unprecedented drain of our skilled labour to more favorable countries. That should bother you

That is not unique to Nigeria. Even China has brain drain. It's a feature of developing countries.

When a bag of rice exceeds the minimum wage, I don't know what else to say!

Go for smaller sized bags, and cheaper brands, then you wouldn't have to spend that much.

I've never understood this Nigerian obsession with buying giant-sized bags of rice enough to feed a battalion.
