Good afternoon sisters, please what’s your take on Fertilaid and Ovaboost combo for ovulation? Please those that have used it, are there any side effects? Does it work? Does it act like clomid? Cos I’m afraid of anything with the behavioral pattern of clomid (as in make you ovulate but not conceive). Your advice is needed before I place my order, please. Note, my gynae prescribed clomid about 2 years ago to correct my irregular cycle, I took it for 4 cycles and I didn’t conceive but ovulated very well with multiple mature follicles. After I stopped, I usually get annovulatory cycles for the first time in my life. Someone then recommended Fertilaid and ovaboost. Please help me. Thanks.

Give yourself like three months for your body to recover before you can start trying, believe me it is necessary. Usually its six to 1 year that doctors recommend but sometimes due to age, the time may be shorten. Please do not start taking any chinese teas or serrapetase until after two months or at least after six weeks so as to be sure the wund has completely healed. Serrapetase though prevents scar formation, its also by the same mechanism does not allow the wound to heal quickly. You can after at least six weeks start taking raspberry tea instead, it helps strenghten the uterus. You husband can continue his medication while you heal so as to optimize the sperm. And at the right time , it will happen, no need to worry.
Tripletwins222:
Good day fruitful people!

Pls, I need your candid advice.
I will be 5th week post myomectomy by tomorrow and my first period appeared today. I've been taking Serrapeptase for one week plus now but decided to give break until after my period. I intend to add chinese teas from two months post surgery. I was diagnosed of bilateral tubal blockages and multiple fibroids before going for the surgery. Though, I took different types of herbs to unblock the tubes but have not gone back for another HSG. My doctor instructed me to start trying after 3months. He prescribed clomid, vitamin b6 and omega H3 for me and prescribed proviron, vitamin e and omega H3 for my hubby. My hubby has been taking manix, oligocare, vit c, vit e, zinc and ubiquinol for few months now though he has not retested.
Please, I urgently need answers to these questions troubling my mind:
(1) What are the steps I'm going to take to help myself?
(2)When should I start taking prenatals to boost my chance?
(3)Should I consider taking pregnacare
conception this time?
(4) I have dhea, ubiquinol and royal jelly supplements, should I add them too to my regimen?
(5) Is clomid safe to take as soon as I want to start trying? Just scared of its negative effects.
(6) Is there any need to detox with herbs or fruits as this is my first period after myomectomy?

So sorry for my lengthy post.
Just curious sad sad
Thank you all.

Good day house, my gynaecologist discovered that I have Cervical Stenosis. He inserted a catheter stent to help open it up. It's meant to be in place for 2 weeks and I was wondering if there's anything I can do to help the therapy. Please advise.

Good morning sisters... Pls what does brown period indicate especially on the first day of the cycle? It's nt smelling just dark brown and little unlike the usual flow. Is it infection?
I'm worried o

I heard it doesn't really mean anything. During cycles that I had brown or dark blood, my flow was very light.

Take heart ma`am. TTC journey is not easy, the key word is to never lose hope. You can continue with the sereapetase. Do fertility massage with ijaw woman, believe me it works for some people. You can then go back to flushing. I believe with God all things are possible. Meanwhile work to improve your hubby sperm health while you are still on treatment. You never can tell anything can happen. It is well withyou my sister.

quote author=Cheerfulmum post=94689183]Sisters my heart is broken...... please encourage me. I don't know what else to do.

My doctor told me yesterday that my only option is now IVF. We don't have IVF money for now. Im having tubal infertility. My right tube is totally blocked no spillage at all and I don't know what is blocking it. My left tube is moderately blocked with hydrosalpinx and little spillage was seen.

I'm broken because I've taken serrapaptase for 3 months and even one cup each of Chinese teas and flushed. I also did castor massage. Yet tube is still blocked. I've never done surgery of any kind before. I remember I only had infection during my early years which may have been caused thr damage. My marriage is 3 years. Has anyone had this kind of condition and still got pregnant naturally? Pls help me.

Try hysteroscopy if you can afford it, it will give a clearer view of the uterus and and other organs.

Good evening fruitful Mamas here. I've treated PID twice (once this year) and was just diagnosed again of the same PID. I've been married for 10 months now and no show. I was supposed to see a gynaecologist but it's not covered in my health plan with my employer being that I'm not pregnant so I suspended that till I'm buoyant.
Being that I know I have this issue for years now as it started as far back as boarding school, do I just respect myself and plan for IVF than to do series of test and taking drugs?
I intend doing the necessary test on paper but deep down I'm contemplating IVF or surrogacy. I need advise. Please help.
I don't mind being recommended to a good hospital around Ikeja axis.

A comprehensive test is important and also ensure your hubby do his test also.

People no longer wait for natural conception.if the resources is available please go ahead. IVF or surrogacy isn't a bad idea but be prepared emotionally.

You could try herbal or see a gynecologist.above all pray.God is the giver of children

try to find out the cause of the recurrent pid, it may be something simple, you are doing --wrongly, i dont want to go into specifics grin. pid usually damages the tubes, so if your tubes are still viable, i dont see why you cant get pregnant naturally.

ivf isnt 1005, its about 405 probability of success, some get preggy on first attempt, some 2nd attempt, some 5th attempt...remember that pastor that died in ph.. she had done ivf 11 times, and still unsuccesful.

before going for ivf, ensure you do proper testing to rule out hydrosalpinx , hope i got the spelling correct, as it causes bfn in ivf

I think you are jumping the gun here. Even with IVF, a lot of testing and medication is involved. It isn't an easy thing.

Yes, some type of untreated PID predisposes some people to infertility but one can't be too sure. Have you done hormone tests, hubby factor?? Don't assume it's your 'fault' cos you have PID.

Your husband needs to be tested as well and treated alongside you.

Calm down!!!
Have you hubby check himself?

Have you done hormonal essay?

You don't just jump to IVF like that.

GodwilldoitAmen:

What I would advise is,in addition to whatever drugs, you are taking,do not underestimate the importance of drinking water, natural stuff like Vegetables, fruits. i.e cucumber,Okro.etc, eliminate sugary stuff from your diet and reduce your consumption of carbohydrates.

As for clomid,I have this phobia about it as regards fibroid regrowth, letrozole may just be okay but again if you do not want to self medicate, you can ask your gynae....

Pregnacare conception is good too,you can add it to your supplements.

Baby dust to us all.

Thanks for your input mama.
Much appreciated.

I tried replying to a Mama's post here, about IVF yesterday and I was banned by Antispam whatever, wonder what that was all about....

Happy new week fruitful Mamas. In this new week may we find favor in the eyes of God and man ...May we be fruitful, may joy radiate in our hearts, may we have reasons to rejoice and celebrate with BFP's before this month runs out..

The Bible says "and Sarah said the Lord has laughed upon her and whosoever that hears about this shall laugh with me"so shall be our respective testimonies in Jesus name....

The Bible also says that Elizabeth's neighbours rejoiced with her when she birthed her son,I pray that even our neighbors shall rejoice with all of us when they see us with our bundles of Joy...
AMEN.

Please do not forget the fruit and water therapy..

Baby dust to all of us..

please mummies help me interpret this result
I am battling with chemical pregnancies(early miscarriage at two weeks)but my gynea said everything is normal
my concern is on LH and FSH because like I read here it must be 1:1

Madam, first of all, when ur gynea is saying everything is normal and u know or feel there's something wrong,Biko what are u waiting for? U have enough money to waste for consultation abi? coz I know consultation isn't cheap. Please seek a second opinion.I don't know y some gyneas no dey proactive at all.fine,we know TTC can be unexplainable but they can try trace am .
U said ur issue is chemical pregnancy(incomplete implantation)that's to say that you ovulate well, tubes are fine,DH sperm is superb so it has already been narrowed down.
Causes of chemical pregnancies:
Defected Eggs
Inadequate uterine lining
Low hormone levels (ruled out from the result)
Luteal phase defect
Infection

My two cents,Work on your eggs,do HVS test for infections and please, change your gynecologist.
This journey is not easy but I know u will overcome.

No couse for alarm madam, you can still get pregnant with just one tube. It only reduces your chances to about 50 to 60 %. You can work with your gynea on how best to optimize your chances. It is well with you ma`am.

To me there is nothing really wromg with your result. Its only that the fsh/lh ration is slightly elevated. As long as you are ovulating and your period is regular, there is no cause for alarm. But if you like to optimizing your chances and aid ovulation you can take some chinese fertlity teas.

i switched from m2tone and pregnacare conception combo to evergreen formula for women. I switched because it was not pocket friendly after two months . I have taken a month's dosage and started on another. I have milk coming out of one of my boobs, the one where my daughter nursed on the most. A doctor told me it's normal, hoping the evergreen formula balances my hormones in case there's any imbalance. I also got positive on ovulation test kit, I wonder why its taking so long.
