I don't usually vibe to anime music but that song is one of my exceptions.

They went from 100% cuteness in OP to max insanity in ED. Turns out there was a second ED that was never used - makes me wonder if the writer or director is a metalhead.

Yeah I know. I was actually quoting a line from the translated lyrics. The lyrics aren't too out of place for a metal song.

This is actually also pretty good. There's definitely a metalhead somewhere behind the scenes though.

Metal gets waaay too much of a bad reputation, I'm not a metalhead but I listen to a few metal bands and it's actually a rich and diverse genre.

Is true though. I can count the number of anime with opening or ending themes that are remarkable to me in any way. Most of them are just basic j-pop and I'm not a big fan of mainstream pop.

There are some that I like but those ones are usually exceptions that don't sound like normal anime music.

Given the sheer number of anime I've watched, I can't say I'm a fan anime music. Maybe I just dislike the fact that a lot of then don't fit the vibe of the show.

Me I've always been a fan of Attack on Titan OPs and OSTs. Especially the 1st OP, Guren No Yumiya. That is basically my favourite anime song of all time.

Mehn, these revelations make me wish I had time to read the manga. Fire Force steadily weaving one of the most engaging stories in shounen action. But then, it's Ookubo so I'm not that amazed.
