Jane, a physically challenged Nigerian lady is currently feeling the warmth and kindness of Nigerians as she is now only a few thousand naira away from changing her life for the better.

Despite living with just a limb, this did not deter her from joining the ongoing anti-SARS protest. A photo of Jane at the protest walk surfaced online, leaving many people in awe and some, inspired.

Popular influencer and medical practitioner, Aproko Doctor, shared the now-viral photo of the lady and revealed she had been unemployed since 2013 due to her present reality.

He then set up a GoFundMe to raise the sum of N500,000 to get her a prosthetic leg. Much to the pleasure and surprise of many people, the account raised over targeted sum under 1 hour.

Due to the willingness of many to contribute towards helping the young lady, the targeted sum was increased to N1,500,000.

Aproko Doctor explained that the decision was made in order to get Jane the highest quality.

He wrote:
"We updated the amount needed after deliberations with @Bayo_Ojelabi seeing as she will deserve the highest quality possible. He and his team will not collect a dime for assembling the prostheses. Everything will be done. Free of Charge. God bless you! Let's keep it coming!"

wow ..this is great... we better pass this government hundred times...ills in the society is as a result of their demonic leadership... I don't know why few people we put millions into penury... we have more power than them, we plenty pass them, let's take back the country from them.

Let's pull funds together.... come 2023 we don't need anybody that has ever been a politician before... lets push in new blood, new ideas, new parties based on preselected criterias... look at fintech in Nigeria, we have so much innovative minds... I don't know why we are constantly pushing in old blood sucking vampires in as leaders.

And i am 100 percent sure that the international community is going to donate more money than we know how to count

Don't use what is happening on NL to judge over 200m people. Did you see the food shared across the country for EndSARS protesters? If the youths weren't united, do you thinK this protest would've achieved this huge success?

In less than 2 hours, the account racked over the targetted amount. And I believe both Igbo, Yoruba and Hausa have donated. Both Christians and Muslims have donated.

Are you aware that EndSARS protesters left their comfort zones to go out and protesters even when they are being killed by the day?
Are you aware that EndSARS protesters discomfort themselves by passing nights on roads and fields?

Are you aware that EndSARS protesters contributed money and fixed the vehicles damaged by hoodlums without the owners of the vehicles spending a kobo?

I met her in kubwa NYSC Orientation camp at Abuja. I was serving that year (2016). I am also disabled.
She's from south south, Bayelsa I think.
I was with batch A.

She told me she had a fatal accident as a young girl and had her leg amputated.

Sis don't take what is happening on NL to heart. When I first got onboard some NLanders wanted to eliminate me. They wrote so many thrash about me. Today, same people are my best friends. They chat me up daily.

Let something happen to a Nlander, that day you'll know that Nlanders love themselves.
