I met her in kubwa NYSC Orientation camp at Abuja. I was serving that year (2016). I am also disabled.
She's from south south, Bayelsa I think.
I was with batch A.

She told me she had a fatal accident as a young girl and had her leg amputated.

And she's so pretty. May God bless her and give her a good home. Her situation makes me sad.

Is he aware that Christian #EndSars pretesters stood guard while their Muslim counterparts observed their Friday jumat prayers?
sapphiere:

Sis are you aware that EndsSARS protesters donated over 2 million naira to a groundnut seller they met on the street while protesting?
Are you aware that a 6-year-old boy gave out all his snacks to EndSARs protesters for free?
Are you aware that a Muslim woman gave all her food yesterday to EndSARS protesters who passed by her place which majority were Christians?
Are you aware that EndSARS protesters left their comfort zones to go out and protesters even when they are being killed by the day?
Are you aware that EndSARS protesters discomfort themselves by passing nights on roads and fields?

If these acts aren't LOVE and UNITY, tell me what they are..

United as how ?
Manchester or Newcastle ?

They helped her doesn't mean we are United
Unity is the real problem in this country
We ain't United bro
Even here in nairaland Ive seen many tribalistic entity

Very on point... forced failed marriage...the bitter truth!

Till we come to terms as a people, in sincerity...that Nigeria is a FAILED STATE... beyond redemption...

We'd remain subservient to self delusion and reinforced failure.

People crowd funded Erica recently

Does that mean we are united?

Don't be deceived by the protest and mistook it for unity.

The protest is long due because of police brutality

There is still tribalism, gender war, marriage, ethnics, religious difference and the most high of all is the respective mindset.

So much love and unity in land now
The love and unity is confusing the dark evil men in offices.
The protest is gradually sliding into Pro.

I like you comment, at least you may have self control, which many of us lack, but really, you do not need a special circle or cliche to discuss what matters, people have the right to break from a country, since you are intelligent, you should know that

[quote author=sapphiere post=95055767]Jane, a physically challenged Nigerian lady is currently feeling the warmth and kindness of Nigerians as she is now only a few thousand naira away from changing her life for the better.

Despite living with just a limb, this did not deter her from joining the ongoing anti-SARS protest. A photo of Jane at the protest walk surfaced online, leaving many people in awe and some, inspired.

Popular influencer and medical practitioner, Aproko Doctor, shared the now-viral photo of the lady and revealed she had been unemployed since 2013 due to her present reality.

He then set up a GoFundMe to raise the sum of N500,000 to get her a prosthetic leg. Much to the pleasure and surprise of many people, the account raised over targeted sum under 1 hour.

Due to the willingness of many to contribute towards helping the young lady, the targeted sum was increased to N1,500,000.

Aproko Doctor explained that the decision was made in order to get Jane the highest quality.

Shut up...preach love not hate. You should understand better that the hatred we have for each other is as a result of the disunity caused by the political class by diving us along religious...political and ethnic line just to keep feeding fat on the masses sweat.

There's no sense in your write up, it's that simple. Refrain from hasty generalisation next time, 'cause I wonder how you arrived at that conclusion.
