How would UN intervention look like? remove the President and all state Governors and National Assembly,/State Assembly members?

The protest has become more of jokes and concert for celebrities and followers..

I know there's regular supply of food and drinks which has made the gatherings attractive for most folks..

We like to overdo things in this country so much tht the main course would be defeated..

Even the so called UN and international communities know that all protest demands have been met.. The reform been asked for will not happen in practice terms like ''closing and opening'' of eyes.. It will come, but it will take a process...

I know my comments would only be understood by those who have knowledge of process.

In every protest people must eat drink and merry gor the struggle to continue until the demand is met...

You're now making definitive statement @the bolded.

Have you been to every protest? Can you give me instances with links and/or pics?

Who drinks and eats for the struggle to continue?

Just say that we want to redefine how to engage in serious protests not this unsubstantiated claims of people eating and drinking in every protest.

No one is talking about removing a democratic president. And if they're not scared, why are they so much in a hit to end the protest?

I was at alusa secretariat three days ago....u dont protest on an empty tommy...u need energy...
#hoodlums trying to stop the protest then at alausa ikeja many argued that it was the protesters but it was not...infact the state bus brt invovled in the saga is where i work...
So bro...i can give you location today #ikorodu total shut down....hoodlums vs protesters
Who is behind the hoodlums?
Why cant buhari sacrifies one hour and engage the youth? Rather he will be sending the likes of lair Mohammed
#freedom #nomoreintimidation is all the youth demands...
Lastly one good thing about this protest is that it has no leader!

They wouldn't back down.

Well, if they ignore the protest, it will still go on. And if they do anything other than responding to the request of the youths, the protest will die off. But the thing is, what we youths are demanding isn't something that can be done in days. But it must be done.

The government did this to themselves. They gave us audio promises for over three years. So this one, is one of those audio promises until we see actions.

If they go brutal, they get sanctioned by the UN.

No go collect rice chop before e go finish.

So your problem is the food the protesters are eating?

How does that deviate from the struggle?

So they must protest throughout the day on empty stomach?

As if that would make the useless government listen to them
Re: Lai Mohammed On EndSARS: We Have Met Demands, We Can't Go Beyond What We've Done by wonder233: 12:26pm On Oct 18, 2020
Thank God there is internet, don't take my word for it. The UN wasn't responsible for the break-up of USSR. The countries themselves that made up the USSR were themselves republics - note, being a republic is even higher than independence (Nigeria got independence in 1960, but didn't become a republic until 3years later). USSR was merely a union of socialist republics. It was after the cold war and capitalism became more attractive, that many of the republics opted out to embrace capitalism.
So, there's nothing like UN doing anything.

You Are right bro but The only Thing UN can
do is to Place stiff sanctions and in extreme
cases send troops for peace keeping-in
Nigeria's case that is when Things go out of
hand.

Lastly You should know that how UN regard
developed countries is different from third
World countries like Nigeria-rules can be bent.

Its such a shame that such a President cant
make a broadcast, he thinks its a joking matter
and The Military will protect him.

He failed to know that The militär rank and file
Are not happy with him and The Military brass.

Abi he will try to broadcast when he Sees
Things are getting out of hand?

quote author=Obamaofusa post=95046701]

I pity Buhari and his footsoldiers. If he uses force, he is gone and he has successfully split Nigeria with the South winning exponentially.

Pres. Buhari should make a broadcast and call the protesters to a dialogue.Everything will calm down when most demands are met.Demands are doable.

Our FiveForFive demands have not been met.

And why should we trust a government that has a history of reneging on its promises?

Where have You ever seen The Military
winning Over The People?

Have You forgotten The Chinese Revolution by

Chair mao, was it The Russian Revolution
against Nicholas 2, or The French Revolution?

What makes You think The whole militäry will stand united?
Bewarned, This is not a regional affair but
Nation wide issue, with BokoHaram, Herdsnen
and ND boys to contend with, do You think
This govt Can survive when it starts?
You have to be realistic in your Analysis,if Govt
gives in to all The demands, it doesnt show
weakness because These are the People The
govt is there for.

You missed one most important point, what we have is a democratically elected president, miscreants like you can't call on the UN or USA to remove him. The moment you start becoming violent and start undermining the security and safety of other Nigerians is the day you will be crushed. And nothing will happen
