Hello house, please l get this GBam noise when slowing down to stop or approaching a traffic light. That is when the gear is suppose to return to gear1, that is when l hear this gbam noise. Please kindly share your suggestions. Help a brother! Please. Accord 02 to be precise. |

naphunlimited:brother man your transmission is about to go out....sadly.. altho,I av seen where this particular symptom went away after car owner changed the alternator....strange but true I am not saying u shld change the alternator o just av it in mind that,u will need to change ur transmission very soon |

The noise is reducing after cleaning the gear sensor filter. I noticed the noise when l increased the rpm from the throttle stop screw. |

Good suggestions above already. It could also be a transmission lock-up clutch related fault. |

the issue has been resolved! the gear switch was the culprit. it was changed and the gear is as smooth as ever. thank you house for all your comments. |

naphunlimited:Congrats. Brake light switch sends one of the signals needed to deactivate the lock up clutch. Or You may be referring to neutral safety switch that was sending incorrect signal. Congrats. |
