What are the procedures or guide (start to finish) for application for a PHD in SA with visa procedures inclusive . Heard KwaZulu-Natal university is a good University and not so expensive. Thanks

2. Write a short proposal
3. Find a tentative supervisor
4. Apply for admission.
5. Use admission documents to apply for student visa
6. Once you get admission letter come back here to ask for visa parole

The school gave me the option of momentum and compcare. Meanwhile, compcare seems to be cheaper to momentum but I don’t know if there are good benefits attached to compcare

Hi bro, was it compulsory you upload any certificate of conduct during the application process. I need to know because I am trying to apply for a PhD program. I don't know if it's necessary. Thanks

SAQA does certificate verification for international students.

You will go to saqa site and register. It takes 3 to 4 weeks before the certificate is ready.

I got admitted into University of Capetown (MSc) for 2021 study, I wish to know if the medical Insurance must be paid for before Visa s given or one can submit a proof (Like a proforma invoice) like in the case of momentum. Because should incase you don't get the visa will you be refunded?

Congratulations! You must have medical aid before visa application can be done . Yes if there is rejection ,you apply for refund

PhD program is free tuition at UKZN. Masters by research also free . First contact potential supervisor while you submit your saqa evaluation

From the information I got there, it's opened for all PhD program. I was able to create account but it's not going beyond the personal information page.

Fill in your personal information first, submit it ,then check if the other sections won't appear.
