If PR is the ultimate goal, i will advise you actually go the PR Route processing right from Nigeria as having a Masters doesnt add any additional points for Skill select. You still need a minimum of 1 year relevant job experience to scale VETASSESS. So there is no point spending so much money going through Student route if you can spend less by applying for PR from Nigeria.

Good day..

My friend said there is a visa for students after they are done with their studies (Masters Student included)

Is this true?

I beg to differ. The masters adds 5 points to skill select and there is extra points if that study is in regional Australia.

Please, what's the prospect of getting PR after 2 years MSc in Agricultural Science related field. And what's the job prospects in Australia for Agricultural Science students?

Agriculture is a good field to get your P.R in Australia.
Agriculture is on the Long & medium term occupation list and also on the global talent list (fast tracked PR if you are distinguished in your field or finish with a distinction).
It is a big Industry that needs qualified experts.
There is a high demand but low qualified applicants for Agric and related field. So you are on the right track.
P.S. If you have prior Agric qualifications and experience, try the P.R route direct. If not, come for your masters, get your post study, with 1 year AU experience, you should be good to get PR.

Yes, you get 2years work visa if you complete any Bsc or Masters(coursework) degree, duration of course must be at least 2 academic years.
You can apply for permanent residency only if your course or qualification is on the skilled list.

Please, what do I need to provide for the embassy when I'm the one sponsoring myself?? I'm not gainfully employed and my business is not up to months that I registered with Corporate Affairs Commission.
I don't think they will be satisfied with only Statement of Account with the sufficient amount of money dumping there.

Urgent Advice is needed here please

I got my Visa granted last month, then last week I received a Mail from the School saying that they will not be able to offer my course, Advicing to change to another related course!

My Question is this,

1, will my Visa be affected if I change the course while in Nigeria here?
2, if I ignore the mail from the School, to do the change of course when I get to Australia, will school report to Immigration on that regard?

Kind advice is needed urgently...
God bless us all

Not only your school, Unis like Melbourne Uni, Monash and even Uni. of Sydney have to cancel intake for some courses for the next two years due to Covid effects, follow the school directives and also your visa will not be affected.
Upon arriving, you may not end up changing course alone but eventually changing school. Whatever decision you want to take, make sure that you're onshore and be enroll at any point in time on student visa.

Please I will like to ask some questions.
Considering the Covid-19 situation and the lock down.
When did you get your COE
when did you apply for your visa.
I'm actually interested in moving to Australia.
Thanks

Please house i need help.
My agent has been disturbing me to pay school fees for the February intake but am still scared that the Australian embassy may not be opened to issue visa for the February intake. She is assuring me that they will open and that the earlier I do it the better. Pls should I proceed to make the payment?
