As the #EndSARS protests continue across the country, top celebrities in Abia on Monday led a group of protesters to Abia state government house in Umuahia.

ABN TV gathered that major roads in the capital city were blocked, causing massive traffic gridlock.

The protesters were chanting solidarity songs in front of the Government House but were not addressed by any official of the government, out correspondent reports.

The undeterred protesters however persisted till it became obvious that no government officials was going to address them.

They however said the protest will continue tomorrow with an assurance that more number of people will turn out for it.

Other celebrities who also joined the protest include, Dauda, Ruff Coin Nwa Aba, Mr. Emmanuel Bello, CEO Latinos Concept, 2 Can Talk numerous Nollywood actors and actresses.

Well, it is expected as people from that region especially Abia would rather remain in the market stalls doing business than protest for change.
I dont care attitude that they all have yet they will be the ones to complain about government the most.
On election day they'll rather sit in their houses, cook, drink and play draft instead of going out to cast their votes so as to bring the desired change they want.
Following week they'll start complaining.

People there know exactly what they want. #endsars protest in any Igbo states is simply a solidarity protest. We have already told the whole world what we want. Stop lying on our behalf. None of you have ever done and endure half of what we have.

EndSARS is a movement that some have sacrificed their lives for. We have lost soldiers and comrades on the battle field. We won't give up we won't relent until Nigeria is fixed, let it be balanced, we can't have graduates roaming the streets after spending years, funds and energy in school while some overfed greedy and selfish politicians sit somewhere and share our future among themselves without considering the teeming and teaming youths who are idle and the masses whose livelihood have been reduced to that of beggars in their land that is full of milk and honey.
The Country is getting worse by the day while the little few hold on to the goodies.
It is time to demand for our right, they always use religion and tribe to cause division amongst us like they are doing now, confusing the illiterates that this is about tribe and religion.
They draw them close with their ingratiating smile and little cash to make them survive just a day and arm them.
The day the almajiris and illiterates in the North will wise up and demand a change from their little few elites, that will smell doom for those elites because those up North almajiris/illiterates are like zombies who are ready to kill and be killed without thinking twice.
