The government has made a big mistake by empowering the thugs to face protesters. Now they feel like the power is with them, the outcome of the support they got is becoming disastrous.

That's what you get when you are insensitive to your citizens and allow nepotism for too long.
Sometimes I wonder how a state like Lagos with some many elites and technocrats where comfortably going about their daily activities even when they see rogues in disguise as NURTW extorting commuters , drivers , market women and men on a daily in the name of levy which does not add any value to those that pay up on a daily!!!
Even the police supports them in any issue or uprising!
Now they can see what giving thugs arms and unwarranted rights is causing.

I actually thought so. I used to visit a someone there and also attend some programs around not far behind that station and at close to that GTB. Plus i use to shop at that building material market
