I have no political affiliation but it's sheer propaganda to claim that average Nigerians, not even the poor, can't afford a meal. It's completely false...

Food is not even the problem in Nigeria, it's lack of infrastructure and corruption. Rice production started unde Buhari and we're gradually attaining self sufficiency instead of importation. If we have the fear of God, we'd say the truth.

Also nobody said fighting for human lives is equal to war but how do you justify the crime rate surging as a result of the protest? I am a young man who has been harassed by the police several times, but common sense mustn't be ignored. Now we need to calm down is all I'm saying.

Edo people have ruined this protest already. Now Lagos has followed suit by burning Orile Police Station...

Thugs have joined protesters and we don't know who is who anymore... Masses have started suffering now, not the government, so it no longer makes sense. It's better to stop now and see what the government wants to implement, at least they listened.

I hands off #endsars officially cos I foresee chaos if things don't stop soon. The protest is now lacking direction and no obvious leadership...

Edit: I just saw a video of a policeman possibly beaten to death in Lagos... To those quoting me and insulting me, hope you all can keep up the same energy when things start affecting your family members. Food scarcity is looming, unemployment and insecurity may start being witnessed... Una eye go clear o!

Very true. It happened precisely between Adolor junction area to front of UBTH. Mopol shooting in air to scare protesters but from where.....But those in main gate were first chased away without any resistance. Some of the police men even sharing tears in hearing the ordeal of the protesters in the hands of this satanic government. The army so far has behaved themselves wisely here. Protesters even "haling" them.

If you know what I faced within the last 10 years of my life from police, you wouldn't be saying this. I've lived in Lagos all my life, on the mainland especially, so there's nothing you want to tell me about the police that I don't know more than you...

But my experience won't stop me from using common sense...

Na common sense our parents used na im bring us here.

Have you ever wondered how many people died in our quest for independence?

Have you imagined what would have happened if during that period everyone "used common sense"?

Like I said you politicians and your families your day of reckoning is coming.

upon all the trillion tones of rice production under buhari, he borrowed rice from ECOWAS to feed his imaginary citizens after lockdown, shared custom expired rice during lockdown, 50kg of rice local rice #27000 now while foreign rice #35000. compare these to #8500 under Jonathan's who didn't produce a cup of rice, where is your audio self food sufficiency? thousands of youths out there protesting because they cant afford ordinary 2q meal a day and you talk about food sufficiency. nonsense

a long protest usually leads to riot and some cases depending on the reason for protest can lead to war after war comes peace.

The independent that this old military kleptomanic are trampling on now was a result of war hence there's no war without bloodshed, people die for people to survive, most cases is the Bravest that dies for cowards to live.

If you don't live for something then you'll die for something nobody can live forever.

Why turn this peaceful protest to a fight of blame!
Please give the Government a chance to deliberate over the issues raised with us.
Let peace reign in Edo State please.
Remember, people are already feeling the after-effect of this crisis. The common man on the street is suffering!
CALM DOWN!!! SHUN VIOLENCE!!!
LET'S AWAIT THE REACTION OF THE GOVERNMENT TO OUR PLIGHT.

The Nigerian Youth have shown their bravery. The protest is being hijack by greedy and selfish persons. This protest is not worth the life of any Youth. Time to settle for dialogue. No Youth plan to loss his life in this protest.
