Anything can be shown on your status bar. It usually depends on your network provider as well as location.

Some themes can also change what is displayed there but I don't use a RN8 so I don't really know to be honest.

LTE-A (LTE-Advanced) or 4.75G as some call it.

It means your network provider is using 2 different bands together (band 3 and 20 or whatever network you on) to deliver speeds faster than 4GLTE which uses only one band.

Also what device you using?
