If not for his questionable stamina and work rate, the dead Ozil is much better than the living Pepe dt had zero output in our last game. Pass=zero, Dribble=zero, shots=zero.

He was a great player. I used was cuz Ozil has not been good in the last 2 year. Yes we can argue that maybe his tweet about the Muslims in China contributed to his onfield issues but when Emery dropped him, the issues with China havent happened then.
I think the problem with Ozil is his lack of commitment in training. We all know that every manager decide who they will play based on how they train and other factors like his off field issues (family or social issues) but if Ozil is actually good enough, the China issue won't have affected his playing time. Imagine if Messi tweet about the China issue, do we expect Barca to drop him?
