Congratulations... Please help out with a tutor for IELTS.

Wasseynewest helped me with my writing for free but I don't know how to reach him now. It's been a while he got PPR.

For listening use Cambridge( used to have up to part 14 but it may have increased)

Congratulations. Which province gave you PNP and what profession was it for? I thought Lawyers weren't in high demand in almost all regions in Canada

Lol. I don't know about that but I used NOC1241. Alberta gave me nomination and they are not particular about your NOC marching your degree like some provinces.

Hello all, I'm so glad i came across this thread. I'm just about starting my journey to Canny land wink. I am 29, engaged to be married in April 2021. I only have Bsc but i checked my Crs point and its 460 because i added my fiance's IELTS and masters..and he has a sister in Canada. We decided i will be the principal applicant for age reasons

I plan to write ICM to increase my point to 492. Reason is because i want to get ITA as soon as possible before i clock 30 by oct 2021.

My question is, should i apply with the 460 point or write the ICM?
For those who wrote ICM, how easy/hard is it?
Is it a one day exam or several days like CIPM?
Is one month enough to study and pass?

Please assist a sister
Thank you.

Good evening people, I need urgent help!!!!!!!

Please I have a unique situation! I work in my parents company in the last 8 years and honestly because I didn't think I would one day need to share evidence of work experience( thanks to the speech last night) with pay stubs and all. I never consciously paid myself salary month on month. it is a buy and sell type business, I would mostly just take profits and pay in sometimes daily and weekly!

How can i show work experience please.

@newmum0615, i sent you an email. please accept . I need your expertise on something.

This journey is truly an individual race that requires patience and hope.
AOR 2019 getting PPRs in Q4 2020? One thing is sure, one day AVO will deliver.

Meanwhile, for a reputable organization like IOM Abuja their response time and webpage is disappointing. I booked my medicals on a bank holiday (29th October) and they can’t even confirm via mail if I’ll be attended to.

I'll advice you email them via iomabujamedicalbooki@iom.int &/or fukonu@iom.int to confirm your booking.

I once booked via their online booking platform, received an email confirmation. Few days to the screening I decided to contact them via phone to double check my reservation, only for me to be told that they couldn't find my reservation, that I should make new reservation via email.

I wish you all the best

Although you've been responded to earlier, I will like to share my experience with you

1. My AOR was on 08/12/2019. The last time I checked (in 05/05/2020 via CSE) all the four indices (Eligibility, Security, Criminality & background) were all valid.

2. Had a new born baby on 30/08/2020

3. Raised web form on 03/09/2020 (Although not necessary, I did attached my newborn's image)

4. On 11/09/2020 IRCC sent me a congratulatory message and an email address to which I was instructed to send specific information to. Note that the email address belongs to CPC Ottawa (my VO)

5. I sent them the email address, attached only the baby's image (at this stage no document was requested from me).

6. CPC Ottawa responded (16/09/2020) by sending me two categories of forms to fill (IMM5405 & IMM0008), requested for the baby's passport, birth certificate, evidence of payment of her processing fee (CAD225) & her passport photograph.

7. Meanwhile, I have since applied for baby's passport, it took a week to be ready. I have already collected her NPC birth cert.

8. I paid the processing fee using Barter Flutterwave virtual dollar card.

9. Filled the forms accordingly

10. Raised web form, attached all six documents (IMM0008, IMM5405, Int passport data page, Birth Cert, passport photo & Receipt of payment)

11. After two days they updated my account by adding her into my list of dependents and sent me Instruction of Medical Examination for the baby carrying her UCI.

12. Booked for Medicals in IOM Abuja.

13. Did medicals last Monday (19/10/2020), received new MEP the following day (20/10/2020) before returning home.

I guess taking things stepwise makes the process easier, clearer and faster. I've read on different fora, how it took some people months to have their new born added into their applications. Thus, I advise you go through the process in a stepwise manner.

Congratulations on your newborn.

Thank you so much.

Heard about EE in May 2015. WES evaluation for Bachelor's degree done Jan 2016, 1st IELTS done FEB 2016, all modules passed apart for writing which was 6.5.
Re-wrote IELTS another 7 times before I finally aced the writing on June 1, 2019, thanks to wasseynest, Johnny Bravo and Mr Fidelis.
in search for another degree to boost CRS, I came across the UNILAG HRDC program on this platform IN 2018 and enrolled to get two degrees, that was evaluated as one semester by WES mid 2019. CRS thus increased to 453... my EE profile expired AuG 5, 2019 and I lost interest in getting back to the pool as ITA scores were way beyond 453 then, I finally created another profile on AUG 13, 2020 and miraculously got Ontario Provincial invitation two days later (Aug 15, 2020). OINP application was submitted on September 21, 2019 and nomination issued on Jan 10, 2020.
Received ITA Jan 22, 2020 and submitted Jan 25, 2020.
Latest GCMS notes shows all passed and ready for visa in officer's comment section.. Patiently waiting for PPR.
This is to encourage anyone reading this to never give up and trust all to God. I give all glory to him..
I will share the PPR news shortly too by God's grace.. PLEASE DO NOT GIVE UP...

Hello house

I read somewhere that my accompanying spouse doesn't need to declare work history which will lead to getting a reference letter since she's not the primary applicant. I didn't know this pre ITA , now after ITA we need to upload reference for work. Should I still upload this document or edit the Application and remove? Since no points for spouse work history is awarded?

Ps. I have the document just want to clarify from people im this same boat that have passed thru this

You may edit and remove...there are no CRS points for spouse's non-canadian work experience.

I don't know for sure but I think the 3 years of work experience must come from 1 NOC

Thanks for responding.
I understand I have to pick a primary NOC. My question is can I claim 3years of experience even though the NOCs are different?.

No, they don't have to come from one NOC. Only your primary NOC has to be one year's experience in one NOC.

The remaining two years can be from different NOC's. As long as they are under NOC A, B, or O, it is okay.

Please go to Canada's website. Cic.gc.ca to read about it. It is unacceptable. Nairaland is to help you. Nairaland isn't an authority. In this journey, you have to learn how to research and not believe all you hear hook, line and sinker. Many nigerians are lazy when it comes to digging out info. They want to be spoonfed. Invest time in researching correct info. Shalom. Even when u do your CRS score. It tells you who's acceptable as a sibling.

she can go the pnp route.. she can be nominated through her family member.. I just heard that recently..

Hello Good People,

Please I'm about to start the process. I have a cousin who's a Canadian Citizen. Our mothers are siblings but she grew up in my parents house so she is more or less my mother's daughter. Can I indicated her as a sibling when applying? She has no issue with this and is willing to support.
do you guys have the same surname? Can you prove the relationship, maybe through birth certificate, pictures of the whole family including her, etc. I think you can check the official websites to see more info on how to prove this! Meanwhile seniors are still here to add to this
